TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Wishes that don't fulfill

The wish to read 30 books total is broken. I've tested it on four sims that had the Bookwork trait. Reading 20 books fulfills that wish, and reading 50 books fulfills that wish, but reading 30 books never fulfills the wish to do so. My sims will have read 30 books, and this shows in the Skills Journal, but the wish never gets fulfilled.

I've adjusted all of the 3D settings, including anisotropic filtering, on my graphics card, an ATI Radeon HD4670, to the high end of the spectrum, and my sims no longer look like TS1 sims when they are outdoors, or in their thumbnails. It has definitely made a positive difference in my game, with no lagging or crashing.

Zlot, if you go to the actual AwesomeMod thread, which is labeled as such, you will find the download link near the top of the first page. To find out when the latest update was posted, look at the timestamp at the bottom of the page. Also, Pescado sometimes makes a new post to let people know that there is a new build to be downloaded.
Edit to insert a missing "e".

The debugging commands can't do anything unless you specifically enter those commands into the console, yourself. The things you're complaining about are testing cheats, which are enabled by default in AwesomeMod. Disable them, and you'll no longer have the features that you don't want.

No, teens can definitely rummage in the neighbours' bins, the option is there for both of the teens in my current household. (One Neurotic, Absent-Minded, Easily Impressed, Green Thumb and the other Insane, Loner, Evil, Artistic. The second teen also has the option on the home bin.) So it's not linked to career, as far as I can tell. (But the career might enable it for sims that otherwise can't?) Neat sims cannot do it, unless their career requires it. My neat mad scientist sim can rummage through bins, but I gave him the Neat trait via AwesomeMod. He didn't have it originally. Also, being a mad scientist seems to make you able to rummage trash, regardless of traits, even though the career doesn't require it. Maybe mad scientist sims are given hidden behaviors for being "mad."

Macro Collect Rocks. You'll find tons of the damn things.
You're not kidding. I had my dirt-poor YA sim collect rocks for about a sim week, sell them without getting any of them cut, and was able to move her to a §60,000+ house.

I think you can install and uninstall without any problems unless you are using the Supreme Commander feature of the mod.
If you disable Supreme Commander, can you then uninstall AwesomeMod? I'm not planning on doing so anytime soon, but it would be good to know.

If your sims have a combination of the Green Thumb trait, the Super Green Thumb perk, and Level 10 gardening skill, plus ferilize their plants as needed. plants take a loooooooong time to die. I had my sim stop fertilizing her non-perfect plants, because it was taking too long to fulfill her Perfect Garden LTW.
I must be missing something here. I'm assuming you had limited gardening space and wanted to replace the existing plants with better quality plants. How did your sim's gardening skills prevent you from ripping the plants up once they'd fruited (i.e. deleting them in buy mode), so that you could replace them with better quality plants? It didn't. I still wanted the produce, even if it wasn't perfect quality.

Traviswroteit: AwesomeMod is configurable. If you want random single sims having random babies that aren't related to them, then you can do so. Just enable the parthenogenesis option when configuring AwesomeMod. I don't remember if this function is enabled or disabled by default, but, either way, it's easy enough to change.
phnxflyng: No, the AwesomeMod does not contain the latest patch. You still need it. I would recommend getting a nice wireless card for your computer, and downloading the patch. There might be a non-launcher version of the patch someplace, but I didn't need it, so I didn't pay attention. There are at least two patch-related threads right here on MATY. Perhaps you should try visiting those threads.

It's the very first "no mosaic" hack that causes the problem. If you have the old hack that changes the shader properties, then the patch won't install. If you have the newer "no mosaic" hack, that changes the Resource.cfg file under Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3, and installs a package file under Mods/Packages, then the patch will install.
