201  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Jealousy - A Mod Request on: 2006 June 13, 23:48:14
I checked and I don't have norandomflirts..hmm...
so this only stops them from getting wants to flirt with other sims? Does it stop them from autonomously flirting?
I have the romancemod and 2Jeff's casual romance. How do all of these work together, as I like for the sims to hook up autonomously in my game. (I play with free will on  Lips sealed)

by the way, only she has the memory of cheating, a green one, which means she's pretty happy about it I guess, lol.
Not that I condone cheating  Roll Eyes
202  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Jealousy - A Mod Request on: 2006 June 13, 19:58:14
I think I have that one too, I will check though. I guess she wanted to flirt with him because they have 2 bolts for each other, the same as she has with her fiance. He has 3 bolts for his wife though.
203  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Family Relations on: 2006 June 13, 19:53:19
Oh okay, I didn't even think to check for in-laws. Most of mine of 2-3bolts for each other and I didn't want to start a family feud, lol.
I noticed that some cousins show up as being family but others don't.
For example, one sim shows his uncle's daughter as his cousin/family but the other cousins don't show him as family. They show being related to "the cousin" they have in common but not to each other.
204  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Family Relations on: 2006 June 13, 19:10:39
In a sims relationship panel, if it doesn't show the little blue family icon on a family members pic, does that mean the game doesn't see the two sims as being related?
205  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Jealousy - A Mod Request on: 2006 June 13, 19:06:51
I have the romance mod installed; one of my Popularity sims who is engaged rolled a want to flirt with her friend, who is married. I had her "squeeze" him (I think that's what it is, when they pinch the other sims butt) and he rejected her. They remained friends but the Popularity sim got a green memory of having cheated. I think the other sim got the memory as well (I have to check to make sure). Anyway, why should she have gotten the memory when her advance was rejected, she didn't actually "cheat"? lol

and on another subject that has always bothered me, what is up with the "admire" interaction? I have sims that admire everyone. Can this be suppressed?

Oh, thanks, didn't know that!
207  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Downtownies appearing in Base hoods? on: 2006 June 06, 15:45:10
The upcoming shiny will be able to have downtownies visit your stores. You'll be able to target your business at any customer group you can probably think of, or even have the clientele automatically change with time of day.
..... cool!   Cool

Until then, I will might try, angelyne's method. I hate that I have to send my sims downtown all the time to meet some cuties. They should be able to meet the love of their life while going to the grocery store and not just a club. I would use Squinge's mod but it conflicts with others that I like.
208  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Downtownies appearing in Base hoods? on: 2006 June 05, 20:22:46
I know, but it conflicts with TwoJeff's visitor controller and JM's noplayableshoppers. I wanted to be able to do it without hacks or with a hack that doesn't conflict with other good mods.
209  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Buy wants not being fulfilled at Business lots on: 2006 June 05, 19:01:36
When I send my sims to an owned comm. business lot for clothes or car, the related wants are not being fulfilled. Has anyone else noticed this?

210  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Acedemie Le Tour on: 2006 June 05, 18:37:36
Hmm, good idea Blue. I'm going to try that.

What is wrong with the other Univ? I've only played LeTour and I was going to start playing the others but if they suck then I won't bother.
211  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Downtownies appearing in Base hoods? on: 2006 June 05, 18:29:28
This has probably been discussed before but don't remember reading it so...
IS there a way to make downtownies appear in base neighborhood and shopping district?
212  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Acedemie Le Tour on: 2006 June 05, 18:12:25
I made once a Greek house in Academie Le Tour - it's my favorite college, and I play it all the time.

Why is that gali? (just curios)
213  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Bathroom Controller: In Soviet Russia, Bathroom Uses You! on: 2006 June 05, 00:05:19
Beats me. I cannot reproduce this result. What are you doing to cause it? Seek isn't even programmed to TRY on a sim until bladder/hygiene are pretty low, and that code hasn't been changed in ages. What are your sims doing at the time?

They aren't doing anything just walking around. Even when visitors show up, the 1st thing they do is run to the bathroom. I have use one roll per bathroom or stall, is that to much?
I'll look more closely at their bladder/hygiene level to see when it's taking affect. Maybe my sims have a case of the runs, who knows. lol
214  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Bathroom Controller: In Soviet Russia, Bathroom Uses You! on: 2006 June 04, 08:18:17
What's up with the latest version of BUY (5-28)? It is pushing my sims into the bathroom even when their bladder & hygiene is almost complety full (sometimes maybe 90% full). Serioulsy, they are running to the bathroom constantly on home lots and business lots where I have the rolls installed. I've tried setting 'Seek' to on & off but it doesn't matter. What's going on?  Huh
215  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: So, hey, is anyone interested in the Tutorial neighborhood? on: 2006 June 02, 17:01:45
How can I get just the terrain? I don't want the clones/sims in it.
216  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: A very unfortunate event on: 2006 June 02, 16:49:07
The hunger desperation bubble is for the other sim in the blue suit (on the far left side in 1st pic), not the one that is drowning. There was another pool ladder, so she could have swam to her right and gotten out that way. You can see it in the 9th pic, the one with the grim reaper over the water. Another sim in the blue suit is using it to get out.

If she was hungry, why didn't she get out? Also, what is the white stuff that is over her head in the 1st and 2nd pics? It looks like she was choking on a chicken or something.
Have sims that weren't pregnant died by choking?

I know she was just a townie but she was one of the rare decent looking ones that I was going to marry off in future generations.
217  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: toddlers playing together, why not? on: 2006 June 02, 00:22:59
Yea, didn't OFB add a 'Tease' command that lets kids bother toddlers?  I haven't seen that happen autonomously yet, but then I rarely have kids and toddlers in the same house at the same time.  I usually wait until there's at least one teen in the house before allowing the next baby (excepting where 'risky woohoo' kicks in, of course, and I even lowered the odds on that to do some level of population control).

Yes they do autonomously tease. I've had a child tease her toddler sister a lot. She has about 2 or 3 points of niceness though, so that may have something to do with it.
218  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: A very unfortunate event on: 2006 June 01, 19:01:51
No, honest I didn't.  Sad
219  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: A very unfortunate event on: 2006 June 01, 06:51:31
lol, yes I'm sorry, there was no question, just a "memoriam" for the townie.  Embarrassed

220  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / A very unfortunate event on: 2006 June 01, 02:07:01
 Cry
I just had townie die on a home based business. She was in the pool enjoying herself when all of a sudden she started to gasp for air. I heard a faint sound but ignored it thinking it was just the sounds of fun and splashing. Next thing I know everyone takes a hit to customer loyalty..and then I see her in the pool, arms flailing. I could do nothing to save her, the grim reaper was already on the scene, and no one knew her enough to plead. She died that night, don't know if it was hunger or drowning that did her in.

Oh, I saw those over at Insim's site. I was looking for Pearl's name but they came up under another username. The description and everything is the same, so I guess I can download them at either site, right?

edit - never mind, same person.  Roll Eyes
