thanks everyone.   No, I do not have the move out hack.    I had to use it once a long time ago but I deleted it from my downloads since then.

Since they were still YAs'  after they were moved to neighborhood bin,   I was able to move them back to another  college dorm  using simenhancer.

 So, far they are behaving as normal and I have been able to graduate two of them.

I just downloaded this to prevent this from happening again because I had a missing portal so I deleted the house.

what I need to know is I also installed your portal fix from MTS2 for NL.   Should I have both of them installed version one and two or only the one here?

the way I understand from what I am reading here is the version2 only fixes the portal if it is messed up from juggling or does it just add juggling to the other things that you fixed in version 1?

i am sorry but I don't know exactly how  this works?  does it automatically tell me if I have a messed up portal or do I have to type something in the cheat box?

I had a bad portal and I could not call a taxi for an outing.  So, instead of trying to fix it, I deceided to move the students out and build them a new place.   When I moved them into the bin instead of going to the UNI bin they went into the Neighborhood bin.

  Does this allways happen if you move them all out at the same time? This is the second time it has happened to my UNI sims when I moved them all out togeather.

  They were not living in a dorm but in a building I made and then had them call and apply for Greek status.

   

well I did have my first teen run a way and I did not know you were supposed to call the police, so I used the ffs lot debugger to bring her back. 

So, the next time a sim went to use the phone that is why that message was on there I guess but why in such a strange Jamacin accent?

Isn't it suppose to say,  "I wish to report a run away teen?"   I don't know like I said ,this is my first run away.   And don't you call the emergency number the police for that?

My game is weirder than H---

I had my sim pick up the phone to call another sim and there was an option on there that said "me, lost me love" or something like that, I can't remember exactly what it said and there was an asterik by the option.

 So,  I clicked on it and my sim started yelling into the phone and a message popped up and said "well, we will try to find me love but there is no guarantee.  And that was that.   Nothing happened after that.
  I clicked on the phone again but the option was gone.   It was very weird.   

I got the craziest phone message yesterday,  it said  "I love me lover or me something"  so I clicked on it and it said  "well, we will try to find it but we can't guarantee anything"

I never got that message before the lot debugger, is that something that comes with it or what?

I got the ugly stupid penguin.         

I used the lot debugger to force an error on all and she came home. 

 Yeah!!!!   I like the lot debugger,   I changed a sims lame lifetime want with it too.   

I tried to teleport her back with the insim. but she never showed back up. 

 I am going to try to fix her with the lot debugger and the iceskating sim with it too.    Fingers crossed.

I have had the sims2 since it came out and I never had a teen run away from home until now.

 I transported a teen townie to my lot and added her to the family so that I could change her clothes.  Well, immediatly she said "I have had enough of you people etc. "

can you get them to come home, do they ever come home?   help.   

and one more thing,  I know I saw a fix for the gliding sims but I can't find it.  I had a sim male downtown today who was gliding across the room, all slunk down and swaying his hips from side to side like a woman.  eek

I finally figured out why she was mad at her dad,  he got a blind date one day at home and the baby must have been jeoulous because I noticed that not only was she furious with her dad but with the blind date lady, Dagmar.   

I fianlly got my game fixed somewhat, the slowness is gone.   I reinstalled NL and I copied the objects package from the disc for UNI,  but the house where the dad and toddler were fighting is definately corrupted because I had more trouble there today,  that damn Miss Crumplebottom came to my house and started lecturing my sims about their bathing suits.   I deleted her with the objects on cheat and she didn't come back.

I defianatly have a love, hate relationship with sims2.   It is a mess the way they sent it to us from the factory.   They just (excuse me for saying this)  vomited something out  for us to buy and if not for JM and others we couldn't play it at all.   They should be getting the big bucks, not those programming idiots at Maxi, EA.   

I hate it when my sims juggle.   How undignified for a grown peson to be juggling.

 I wish we could get a fix to stop them from ever juggling,  like the one we got for them playing in the bathtub, also very undignified and unproper behavior for a grownup.   

well, that is good to know because I love that mod.   

before I reinstalled I had the UNI patch and it seemed like it was a smaller patch than the one I got this time, it was huge.    I think I will let NL patch Uni and then just put in the patch for NL.   

so, does UNI patch the original sims1 if I leave out that patch.    Because my game was running fast before I uninstalled and reinstalled,  patching each time before installing the next ep.  Now it is molassass.  Slooooooooow.   

I just got a new videio card with 256MB memory but I cannot afford to upgrade my processor  until at least March.

as for the baby fight, I think it had to do with the quads and triplet mod, I took it out before the babies grew up but they were conceived using that hack and they were showing other odd behaviors besides the one that had the fight with the dad.  One of them grew up by itself to a kid two days before the other ones and the next one grew from a baby to a toddler but she was not in her crib when she grew up, she was out on the front lawn.  OMG   
 I can't go through another mess like that.  rofl

I am going to try this because I reinstalled and my game is messed up.  I am going to try the force error option but it says do not use while in debug mode,  what is debug mode?

no weird hacks, the last two hacks I put in my game were TJs'  college adjuster and the NPC zapper.    I never saw that attack baby option before either until today.  what a hoot.  

I just reinstalled all ex-packs and original and now I am getting weird options.  I got the option for this dad to attack his toddler, so I had to click on it, he stood up and she sat on the floor and the cloud was there and all , then she said " I can see your not a sim to be triffled with etc," and then she sat around all the rest of the day with the boxing gloves over her head and now she want to see the ghost of her dad.   



My game is running so slow now also,  I patched after I installed each pack but I am going to reinstall all of them and only patch the last one and see if that helps.   

my download folder is 3.46 and I just cleaned it out.   

Gosh, I couldn't handle that many babies at once.   I just started using the quads and triplet mod and so far all I have had the courage to use is tripletts and that is a circus.   

yes, I did delete some terrain paint and then put in a different one.  I have tried to package two different lots and they crash in a few seconds after they start saving.

 If I ever get ready to start from scratch again I am removing all  custon terrain paint. I did not know that it caused problems.  You are talking about custom terrain causing problems or all terrains in general?         thanks.   

It would be okay to use me if you want, my sim is in peasantry. 
 I would like to share a house but everytime I try to package any of my houses they crash.   I think I need to take out the mods first. 
 Is there anything else I need to take out?   I have the delivery paper not coming, but I am not using a mod for that.   I just build a fenced in place and put my newspaper in there and they stop coming after three of them are in it.   Should I start the paper girl back before trying to package a house?   

 Can I keep the custom skins and objects in it?   Also do I need to uninstall the sim clean pack installer before trying to package a lot?   Sorry for so many questions but I never had trouble packaging a lot before I got the new ep's and all the custom content and the sims clean pack installer.     thanks

duh,  I found the problem. 

 In the process of taking out hacks and putting them back in, I had accidentally installed an older version of the phone hack and that was causing the problem.   I should have known that something was wrong when I called a taxi and only picked three sims to go downtown but they all got in the taxi and then I started getting the footprint icons.

  that,s what I get for shuffling hacks around.    lol

today when I was playing I kept getting a bunch of footprint icons and they said  "go here" not move[ out of the way] like they usually say.  Some of the sims had 8 or 9 at one time.   

I never had the footprintswhen I had the "no route fail"  before it quit working. 

 I was  reading the "don't wave at me"  thread but it did not seem to be the cure for this problem.   thanks

 My daughter asked me the other day how to do it and I said  "duh",  I don't have a clue.
