can anyone please give me the link to carrigon or carringtons hacks.   I am talking about the person who used to be on variousimmers but left and made their own site.

  I have several of their hacks for NL but now that I finally got OFB about two days ago,   I need to update the hacks.   She or he had the Nl no pop balloons, the foreverburn fireplace, etc.

I have the "don't wave at me" hack installed but my sims still complain if there are 4 computers in the room, and only one in use,  they always want the one that someone else is using.

 So, they stand there saying "Lola,  or whatever they say and stomping their feet  and I could just kill them.   

Is " don't wave at me"  the right hack to keep them from complaining or do I need a different hack for that?   thanks

I really thought it was broke, I guess it has been a long time since I made a new sim and it just did not look right to me,   I was up half the night taking things out and putting them back and reinstalling.     

  Talk about a space cadet,  I think I am certifiable for the looney bin.   lol

OMG please somebody help me.  I made a dummy hood and they were still greyed out.  I took out all of my recent skins and meshes, did not help.

fianally I reinstalled and with no downloads except for enable color options in my download folder, I can not even make a sim with the new install and no downloads.

It looks normal when I first go into cas, and I click on create a sim, then the hour glass spins and a sim pops up and then the buttons grey out again.



I only reinstalled NL, maybe I should install all of them again or should I make a new user profile and install the sims in there.   Mine is not only broke, it is busted.   

when I try to create a sim, I can click on make a sim and then all the buttons are greyed out, I can try on the clothes and delete the clothes but the save and all the rest except forthe  cancell button are greyed out. 

 Could it be that I have too many sims in the neighborhood allready.  I have 899 character files in strangetown.  I do not have any other hoods to check and see if it is only strangetown.

I never did get OFB either and I was wondering the same thing,  will I have any problems using hacks when the next ep comes out if I don't get OFB?

I'm not sure if the answer was a yes or a no, as the thread kept going off in so many different directions.   

OFB is the first ex-pack that I never purchased,  I had all the sims1, even the goofy ones, like vacation.

I just need to ask one final dumb question,  I am using Blues and the only one I am using is the objects off, objects on.

so what do I type in the box after I bring up the cheat box?   Is it m for on and m-  for off?
  I am sorry to be so dense but I have not used a startup cheat since sims1  and I just plumb forgot the basics.             thanks

okay mine says userStartup.cheat and then the next line says  CHEATFILE.   is that right???  It don't look right to me.

Is that the right one for NL?  Do I need both of them or just the phonehack part?   

I can't download the NL version of the phone hack,  I get a page that says "go to more awesome than you' or something like that. 
 I don't have OFB so I need the NL version.  Is the download still available or will the link be working soon?   thanks. 

wow!!!  that is one ugly baby.   I thought I had some freaks in my game but yours tops mine way more.   

 I don't have it yet,  I think it will be awhile before I get it.   I cancelled my internet for a month so that I could take a break from downloading and get my files cleaned out.   Then my computer started acting strange and I was not even on the net,  I reformated and reinstalled windows and got my internet back, but that was only the beginning of my problems,  it kept shutting down and saying "boot disc failure, insert the system disc".    So, I had to reinstall and reformat windows 5 times this weekend.   It seems to be working pretty good at the present but if it starts acting up again, it is going into the shop for a diagnosis and a tuneup.   

OFB, does not sound like much fun to me,  maybe by the time I get my computer straightened out they will have a patch out and I might buy it then.   

I haven't paid anything  because I have not received a bill in the mail yet,  but I have my check ready for when the bill arrives.   

I miss the "preachers pulpit"  it was so funny.   I miss the sims getting booed by other sims when they did not have any charisma points.   I miss the "dial-a-slap" too,   very funny.   

 I really need this, all of my sims miss work on Monday,  I know they aren't all science career.   Stupid maxi and their crappy messes. 

 Sometimes my kids miss school on Monday too.  I hope this fixes it.  thanks

You can change the clothes,  the facial sturcture and all kinds of things with it.  You can summon townies, NPC's, college students, sims and all.   It is fabulous.










 

OMG, I just checked mine and I got 431MB of hair colors and 658 files.   I really need to start deleting,  I have totally lost it.      

that is so cool.   I converted my daughter about three months ago.  I had the sims2 dvd version and the cd version,  so I gave her the dvd version and she loved it,  she bought all the ex-packs for Christmas.   

 I have a old friend who used to live here and he just moved back home from Las Vegas and he is thinking about converting to the sims, he asked me if I would get him started.   I said "sure" but now I feel kinda guilty, the poor guy does not even know what he is in for.   

OMG that is too funny.         I would hate to be the one he asked to help him out.
