That's true, but macro/socialise/unfriendly is the model of efficiency when it comes to making enemies. Disallowing it makes the user need to manipulate the interactions themselves, allowing room for error.
Personally, I'd get sims to keep hitting on sims that aren't remotely interested. That's a surefire way to make enemies.

I appreciate all the feedback. To be honest, I'm biting down hard on the urge to redownload that merged hood just so I can pop Coral & Herb Oldie in there & watch them go at it. I kind of had them in mind when I made it.

Aw, you noticed me! Have a bobble hat!
I don't really think that the diagonality of couches really matters so much when the original lot is terrain-wrecking FAIL! If it matter so much, change them to suit your own needs when you download it. I promise not to get in a snit about it.

Gran's Kitschy Cottage$105,120 - Beware, this lot was made from the original, terrain-wrecking lot. If you have the lot explander thingery and the motivation to fix things, I'd love a non-terrain-fucking version of this lot. Otherwise, download at your peril. The kids have moved out & have kids of their own, and that holiday to Twikki Island sure gave Gran some fun decorating ideas, so when Pa said he wanted to turn the basement into a den, she decided to throw in a bar to compliment his growing model railroad. She continued the theme outside, turning the barbecue area into an oasis-themed garden with water feature. Puss, the geriatric kitty that helped raise the kids now lives in the warm sunny spot under the window outside Gran's sewing room, where she makes toys & bobble-hats for the grandkids. Much of the orignal house retains the same charm it had when Gran decorated it as a newlywed, much to Pa's delight. There's nothing like the warming glow of the radiation king as you balance your tv dinner on your knees & watch Sale of the Century. Inclusions: 2 Bed, 1 Bath. The One Desk downstairs in spacious study. Fully lockable kitchen & stairwells. Viewing deck spacious with points of interest, access to bathroom & tv. Well-appointed kitchen has feeding dish with fully-washable rubberised mat to enable quick cleanup. Bird cage in stairwell foyer. Two 1x1 storage closets. Exclusions: The kitchen sink. Yard only partially fenced. Pet toys/litter tray not included. Nursery not included. Room for driveway if you're clever about it, not included because original game driveway pieces did not match the theme. Not playtested at time of upload. Made with love & the following EPs & SPs: TS2 Holiday Edition, Uni, NL, OFB, FFS, GLS, Pets, Seasons, BV, FT.

Like Kyna, this house was my very first exposure to TS2. It was also my first building project. It drove me so nuts that I moved half of my family out & the game popped up with 'would you like to put these sims in the sim bin'. Of course I didn't want to throw them out, so I said no, and then I couldn't find them (gee, I wonder why! ) and I got so upset it was another two years before I played Strangetown again. This is also the house that made me very aware that sims can't scooch across the bed & get very cranky about having only one side of the double bed accessable in that horribly narrow basement. So far it's taken me four and a half hours, and I'm still not done. I'm going to bed. *ETA omission due to fatigue.

I keep it in because I have zombie apocalypse & my hood has a strict "no rez pls" rule. Once you're dead, you're dead. Unless, of course, you become differently alive by abduction, prank, or wish fulfilment.
So, I guess the only way that the zombie apocalypse will start is if someone gets a bad roll on their abduction.

Any family that reaches zero family funds must immediately move to a Poor House. Money from the sale of their lot/house goes immediately to the mayor, because it's an awful, oppressive system. In the Poor House, they must work to pay off their debt (earn $1000 per family to merit release.) Oh, that is evil. I'm borrowing that idea!

It's a basic accomodation, the res lot roundhouses tend to be a little different on the inside. I felt that the floor dividers gave privacy without throwing architectural accuracy out the window.
I'm not joking about that hearth, btw. It's cloned from a grill. I have firemod, so it's useful in training up sims to be fire-fighting experts from a very young age.

For my current hood, I did up great grandparents, grandparents & parents (4 of each gen) as throwaways in cas, all with different genetics. I've had skintones, eyecolours & hair colours from all of these throwaways show up in the first generation of born-in-game sims.
I'm very pleased. My little biodiversity experiment worked.

It's not a portable hole. Their right butt-cheek pocket is a portal to an alternate dimension. But that's what a portable hole is. Someone here needs to bone up on her AD&D rules. I know I'm a little late to reply here - sorry, life (and a weekend away) comes first.

I have been searching in vain for the various fugly forehead antennae I used to see all the time when I wasn't looking for them. There's also these: </snip> I like the idea of alien antennae, but pipe cleaners sticking out of the top of my sims' heads...not so much. Those are quite lovely, and if you're a big fan of Shadowrun, then they are absolutely perfect for Bugs. Pity about the flashing blue problem though.

There you go. Nicely done, floopyboo! I love the pool area. Floorplans?
Eventually. The ones I took were craptacular even by my standards, and after 9 hours of making that thing, I wanted a break. lol. I swear it's more drama to gut & remodel than it is to start anew. ETA: Kitsch Heaven now with bonus floorplans. And yes, the closet in the nursery is designed for bat boxes.

Kitsch Heaven: Price:$111,184 Bedrooms: 3-4 + nursery EPs & SPs: Uni, NL OFB, FFS, GLS, Pets, Seasons, BV, FT. Favourite EP/SP: You'll figure it out. This lot hasn't been playtested, since I just finished it. The kitchen is lockable, and since the only access upstairs is from the nursery which adjoins the kitchen, nobody's going anywhere you don't want them to. This includes the three toilets. Expect bitching from guests. ETA: Zomg floorplans!
