151  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sims interaction issues since last AM update. on: 2014 April 23, 22:35:56
I have had borked sims that were unable to respond correctly. My last resort is the AM command resetworld. Wishes & promises are lost, I don't know what else. I have done it three times to date on the world I am playing, I am sick of starting over on the sims. Everything is still working as far as I can see.

Awesomemod has been repacked. Please download again.

That's weird. I just download lots, mainly from MTS, and install and run them without decrapifying. Store and game stuff shows up fine. :/
154  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2014 April 20, 20:52:16
I use the decrapper and the launcher. It takes about a minute to process a minimum of 1-2 GB sims3pack files at a time, roughly the size of the databases that sims 3 creates. (The .dbc files.) If I do the whole lot of store stuff at once it does tend to skip the odd file. Takes 10-15 minutes to install the entire 7.5GB. I do have a grunter of a computer so the time may be double that for an average machine, and your chunks may need to be smaller if you have <16GB RAM.

I have used this method from the beginning and all my store stuff works. I use KissingToast and notouching fixes, after carefully reading the instructions.

The database files the game creates are probably more suitable for the game to access, I suspect, than the merged package files that are user created. I do know that lots of separate package files are a cause of lag.
155  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 11.02.2013) on: 2014 April 08, 21:40:39
You wouldn't have half the problems you are having with the store items if you actually bought them.

That's a bit rich coming from someone who has difficulty making the store bought items work even after she pays for them!

Just a note, I have had no trouble with any of the new seeds since notouching added the first fix. I have not tried the bakery.
156  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 11.02.2013) on: 2014 April 04, 21:52:22
This step is mandatory or fix alone can suffice?

Try it and see. Let us know.

Make sure you update your ccmerged.

The plates are empty and can't click the bakery oven  Sad

You have a ccmerged problem.

Is anyone else having problem installing the Villa Paraiso featured set? I get this message, 'You must install the associated premium content before installing this style' Any solutions?

Install the associated premium content?

Lord love a duck.
158  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 11.02.2013) on: 2014 March 24, 23:15:35
I've downloaded Monas c-merged file and installed that in the overide file and in the DCBackup, should I still re-download the KT_StoreFix and the KT_XMLs?

This is a problem if you're using an outdated version of KT_XMLs. At some point the fixes were separated so that the "Pet store now sells limited edition content" fix was given a separate package, because it usually needed an update for major patches. I recommend re-downloading the KT_StoreFix_Fixes and KT_XMLs. As long your ccmerged is updated, you don't need to re-download it.

Reading for comprehension, what?

Nanites may be caught, researched, reverse engineered and created. They are an integral part of the creation of robotic trait chips. Reverse engineered they become other parts required for engineering the chips.

Oh I have a good one: sims 3 starter site.

I'm wondering when you're going to update for a few things. The Roaring Heights stuff, and the new Glassblowing stuff. There's a whole bunch of stuff here. http://freesims-3.tumblr.com/

The car from Roaring Heights turns into a white box, and I know from experience that most Premium content will not work without a fix if you don't get it from the Sims Store. I also can't find my corn crops, or the orange trees, but I know I have them installed.

Please and thank you.

Dear god, please read back at least the last page of a thread before you go posting the same fucking question we've heard over and over again.
163  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Bug Help on: 2014 January 28, 23:33:46
First, I'd like to begin by saying that the registration system here is very annoying. It would not accept my regular username or email address combination so I had to use http://10minutemail.com/ and this username to signup. Also, upon trying to post in the AM Bug report thread I was unable to do so. This is the resulting post of my struggles.

Anyways, my issue is that the most recent Awesomemod has broken my Sims 3 game. None of the saves load and I cannot start a new game.

I've disabled Awesomemod's story progression and I was using NRaas, however with the most recent AM update it is all broken.

Sadly, I do not have a copy of the last AM version, however it expired on 1-27 if that is useful information...

We are sorry you have had an upsetting customer experience. Your business is important to us, please wait until one of our operators is free to handle your call.

There is a literal event available. It is clearly labelled as as such.

...what really pisses me off is that they never rarely change back from werewolf to sim. I just cured all mine because I get sick of the loping and the ugliness.

Twallan's Overwatch should fix this. You can also enable testing cheats and delete the werewolf moodlet with ctl-click, which should help too.

No, Overwatch didn't. This was not a family I was actively playing so it would be a hassle to load them after every full moon just to change them back. Testing cheats helped me find an option to cure them. Smiley

Good onya, sounds like fun. I like the alternate colour schemes and the theme. I really like some of the future houses I've seen and I've had some good ideas from them.

Unfortunately I am on a work deadline of 6th January so may not be able to build something in time, but I'll enjoy following the thread. In fact, over this time of the year you may find this is too short a timespan, we were doing a month in the challenges earlier in the year.

Either way, I look forward to some new scrummy houses.

You can change the werewolf face to be more like their own sims face, but what really pisses me off is that they never rarely change back from werewolf to sim. I just cured all mine because I get sick of the loping and the ugliness.

Oh, damn. I am sorry for not checking back earlier. I personally use Opera, so I didn't know other browsers had issues with MEGA.

Other browsers don't have issues, I've been using Mega since it opened. (Proud Kiwi!) The message I got from Mega said that the current Firefox had a bug. I had no problems downloading with Chrome.
171  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2013 December 13, 21:50:49
Mega said Firefox currently has a bug which interferes with Mega downloads. If offered me an addon to try, which did not work. I downloaded in Chrome and that worked very quickly.

The addon prefixed the link with "chrome" and some other bits, so maybe the combo of the Firefox addon and then using Chrome was the magic key. I do have a Mega login, so maybe that's why I was offered the addon.

Mega 2.0.72 is the one that was updated.

Alot of sets have come out in various ways.  Individually or in compilations.  Like Jeezer said, they've released some twice in a compilation of various store themes, trying to get people to buy it again.  But, 4 years of Store Stuff, is alot.  Not to mention, they're not done yet.  I hope they will be by next summer.

I am extremely disappointed in you, Jaldeer.

173  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: What needs to go where to make AM work on: 2013 November 24, 20:02:25
I've seen a recommendation from someone else to make sure you use the super patch, rather than an incremental patch. Dunno, I always use the super patch myself and I'm running awesomemod fine.

I use the old framework setup, not the 'My Documents' one, but I believe both ways are working fine, just don't mix the two up probably.

Check you have downloaded the latest AM.

Why is the hat 9MB, and why did I get a Vube? downloader offering to download for me?
175  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Into The Future Thread of Joy and Woe. on: 2013 November 12, 00:11:11
For fucks' sake people! Take your fucking mods out and start a new game. Add half your mods, if there are issues, remove them a half at a time until the problem is resolved. It's not fucking rocket surgery.
