I have a sim who is frozen,  he won't move from  the mailbox,  and when I give him a command it drops out of the quiche.   He can't communicate with others and they can't communicate with him.

Should I use the lot debugger on him or what?   I deleted him with the objects on cheat and saved the lot, exited and re-entered the house but he is still stuck.   I hate him, I can't get rid of him or kill him or anything.   What is wrong with him?   

all of my photo booth pictures turned blue and flashing after I installed OFB, and I did not use the lot debugger. 

 That is the only object that was flashing blue  after installing OFB,  so I consider myself very lucky.

so you are saying that I can run Pets and all the other packs with only 256MB of vidio memory and that I should just go to a higher card?  I will take a look at the 7800 series and see what I can afford.

I am not very technical, so if I left something out that you were asking about my computer "just ask me again in real words and don't get all technical on me.

well, right now I am using 81.98 with my 5200 256MB card and it works great.  I tried to upgrade to the newest one the 91 something and it made my sims stick.   Somebody said I should turn down my accerlated graphics to get it work but I deceided not to and just stay with the one that was already working 

 I am going to be installing a 6800 512 card this time and I don't know if the 81.98 drivers will work with that card or not,  I could just delete them in the computer properties,advanced, hardware like you said and then try them with the new card. 
I will let you know how it goes, I won't be getting it for a couple more weeks but I wanted to be prepared and know how to do it before I got the card and made a mess installing it.    thanks again   

thanks everybody, so my basic understanding is that first I uninstall the current drivers while in safe mode and then instead of restarting I shut the p.c. down

unplug and swap out the cards and restart the pc and canel all the prompts, and install drivers from the c.d then go to NVIDIA to get the latest updated driver.   Is that right??

I am going to get a new video card and install it myself, I am tired of paying 50 or more to get them installed by a so called professional

well anyway here is my question first it says uninstall the old drivers, which I know how to do but then  it says


so, what I need to know is do I do this after I uninstall the old drivers and before I take out the old card and install the new one or do I  run the wizard  after I put in the new card.     Very confused. 

I got  these instructions from the XFX  quick installation guide that came with my last video card.

this reminds me that I was visiting my 7 year old granddaughter and she was playing sims1,  she had the lady dressed in those old ugly default pajamas, and the woman never had any green bars, she had three dogs and a dragon.

I hate them too,  I must be building challenged,  I have used auto roofs since I got the sims2 and I don't know how to build a basement either or make steps on the outside of your house.    rolf

My lady sim owned this shop and I had her call and sell it but when I looked in her inventory she still had the deed to it.  And then when I had her buy another business when she got there and I looked in her information thing it said she owned two business.  Is my game messed up or is this one of maxi stupid messes?   

One more question, if I choose an work uniform for one of my employees, can they choose regular clothes or just the stupid looking gorillas and armour outfits.  God, I wish maxi would make a fix to delete everybit of their custom content.  I hate it all.   The default sims are uglier than mud fences and they all look like creatins and then they want us to dress them up in those ridiculous outfits.

mine clean up plates on the downtown lots especially if they are high in neat points.  Vicund would get out the car and go in and start clearing plates and washing dishes.  A lot of mine if I would cancell there eating because they were taking too long eating, they would clean up their plates even if I had something else queche up for them to do.   You, know when they are on a date, they only have so long and here they are cleaning them plates and the message pops up "time is running out"   

whoever can fix this a big thanks to you JM or TJ.   

in the meantime I have put back in the Inge hack and am not playing the business part of the game until I get a fix.  I was going to uninstall it but then I would have to put all the old NL hacks back in and I am not going thru that again.   

thanks ancient sim,  at least I am not the only one with the problem.   Maybe if more people get it someone will make a fix.   I sure miss Inge, she would have it fixed by now.   

  I tried to explain to Squinge in a post that it was not working on the NL lots and some smart-ass answered my post and said I shouldn't have downloaded it if I didn't have OFB and it was not Squinge's fault.   I replied "I am not a complete idiot, but I have all the ep's and it don' t work.

when I put it in and went downtown,  there were plates everywhere, even the waitress would not clean any plates after the people got finished eating.   So my sim lady had to sit down and order something and then when her order came, the dirty plate disappeared.   This is the funny part,  the man she was dining wiith he disappeared completely off the lot but she still had to order him something so that she could eat.  Then when she got in her car to leave, she would not leave because she was waiting for him, so I had to exit without saving to get her home.   

yes but it will not work on downtown nightlife lots.   I already tried it.

my sims are cleaning the da_ _  plates again, since I had to unistall Inge "no plate clearing hack"  Do you have anything here that will replace it, that will work with NL and OFB?

I hate OFB,  I just got it about a week ago and I wish I had my 30 dollars and they had a feather you know where , then we would both be tickled.   

sorry about the rant but I had my game perfect before OFB and now everything is messed up.  I am getting weird animations again,  this lady in the hot tub was giving this man a massage only he was turned around not facing her with his arms stuck out behind him.   I wonder if I will ever get this ep working right.
