Ooooh-nice...
I'm thinking of getting a drawing-tablet, then I'll have to accept the boundaries Wink (First I have to save up some money though)

Thanks a lot!

Ooooh! I would have imagined some different interactions with them. But then again, my sim doesn't socialise enough to get bitten. I'm relieved. Smiley

I haven't been playing for very long, what does the wolf look like, is it a brown dog with flourescent yellow eyes? Because a dog like that comes around a lot to a couple of my sim houses, my simmies like to play with it too. Smiley
130  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pets and Community Lots? on: 2006 November 18, 23:24:24
I was also wondering about this. When my sim goes alone to a community lot, there's always one stray around (changes every time) and when he takes his dog, his is the only 4-legged critter there (no strays, no owned pets either).

I'm aware of TwoJeffs' painting to ban pets, but I'd like an object that summons some pets onto a lot.

I made some spectacular pet-friendly parks and I want my pets to meet other pets for breeding and stuff. Maybe I haven't seen it yet, but is there an object, or do other pets already come to community lots with pet-beds, food bowls and such?

Or maybe that doesn't happen because of OFB, because we wouldn't want our shops full of pets not buying anything? I get to have only 3 customers at a time anyway, but still, if there's a food-bowl, there should be some pets around Smiley
131  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Mouse Problems on: 2006 November 18, 23:14:41
It happens to me too occasionally, but I never questioned it, just cursed and wiggled it around (and giggled a couple of times like a baby gazing at a crib-mobile-maybe even gurgled too).

It only happens randomly and only when I'm not touching the mouse. Smiley teehee
(I use an un-shiney matte wood surface, I hate mousepads. I feel the boundaries and get annoyed at slipping off of it's edge Smiley)
132  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Suggest Outfit broken in Pets ? on: 2006 November 18, 23:03:31
I bet they'll fix that. They have a way of fixing the -how can I put it- easier problems.

Quoting the OFB patch list of changes:

*Ug-No-More Makeover Station can now be deleted properly while Sims are performing the "Be Stylist" interaction.
*NPC Vampires will now return home correctly when visiting an Electrono ticket machine lot.
*Baseball Cap is now removed when Sims change to Formal wear.
*While playing the J'Adore Bakery, second Sim can now enter taxi while there is a fire.

And leave Pescado to fix the more important stuff Smiley
133  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Why do so many people's male sims look like women? on: 2006 November 17, 11:14:44
I once watched a documentary which looked into this area. It basically said women in the ovulating period tended to be attracted by more 'manly' men. Because of the instict to reproduce with the stronger more dominant types, and give your child the best chances of survival after birth and throughout their lives.
On the other days of the menstrual cycle, they tend to go for more softer lines of the face, less hairy, so more feminine-type faces, for the emotional type of guy, presumably.
At least that's what I remember about it. (Professor Robert Winston's Human body series I think-been a while)

LOL! I really shouldn't encourage people to download like me, sorry. I narrowed my Downloads folder from 9GB to around 5GB a few months ago, now I'm back up to 7,5 GB and all of it, stuff I carefully choose on sites, download, sort, recategorize and put in appropriate folders. I download something every day, the Sims2finds of Bines sims revue is my homepage! Sorry if I'm spreading my download addiction Cheesy hehe

You're welcome! And yep, I have an obsession for Targa's stairs. There's also a great spiral staircase by XxHalfBloodPrincexX over there at MTS2, I even asked Piggi to make some recolors and she made them in that week, so I use the stairs anywhere possible. The animations aren't correct, but it's kinda better as it saves time, sims zooming up and down Smiley If you'd like some recolors: http://www.piggis-sims.net/ *and for the original staircase in case you missed it: black one (no recolors): http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=103605
and the wood one: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=103492
136  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Hacked minifridge? on: 2006 September 09, 14:31:09
I put it in all my nurseries, saves the hassle of taking the baby downstairs each time. (And I use it in a victorian home to feed toddlers, they don't come out of the nursery, my special nanny-maid sim takes care of them, unless some guests come over and want to see the precious new ones, only then are they dressed up and bought into the guest room) Smiley

http://www.all-about-style.com/victorian.html I remember a lot of peasant/working clothes there- victorian section (or was it the themes section- can't really remember, but there's some great stuff over there) Smiley Edit: Duh, there's a medeival section under themes, but I remember some in career outfits as well. You might want to look around Cheesy My memory is not so good these days...

I use this one Targa made at MTS2: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=96010 It serves as a regular fridge (the Uni one converted into a normal fridge).
139  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: living on comunity lot on: 2006 September 08, 19:35:07
True, Macrotastics for constant caffeination, or Squinge (was it Squinge? it always seems to be) for enabling community lot sleeping. Squinge has most of his stuff all neatly piled up in his forum at the Insim site.
It's echo's mod at MTS2. Smiley
140  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Terrains. How to get the outline back?? on: 2006 September 07, 23:05:03
That sometimes happens to me when the game is on for hours (or a very full lot) and at one point, the grass gets blurry, and I lose the terrain outlines. They seem to work on the smallest size better though. So, more of a graphics issue to me, and only happens in my game since I installed OFB.

Thank you Sleepycat!
Some of them are a bit sleazy, yes, just right for my simmies!
142  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Website for Male Sim Clothes? on: 2006 September 03, 22:53:29
I remember a while back there was a mens specific site called menswear or something. Can't remember the addy though, wish I could. Maybe it's closed, I can't find a link for it anywhere. I lost some stuff I downloaded from that site, and hope to find it. Cheesy
143  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Do you current job, not the other jobs you have badges for! on: 2006 August 14, 11:50:28
Okay, thanks for clearing that up for me, it had been bugging me for a while Smiley
144  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Do you current job, not the other jobs you have badges for! on: 2006 August 14, 11:33:17
I have a question about BRY, sometimes, an employee, say a restocker, is 'like' on a break, always sitting in front of the tv in the staff room, but I have no option to send him back to work. It's like he isn't on a break, but there are many out of stock signs about, so is he just a slacker, should I sack him? Is this something about the BRY, I'm not sure. And my cashier runs off to sell stuff also, but then customers start waiting at the till but the cashier just can't get back in time (it isn't a matter of long distances, 5-6 tiles to the till.) And when he finally gets there, he stands idle, doing nothing until someone gets frustrated and leaves, THEN he starts working. It's like he's stuck. I've had this happen on separate occasions, in different lots.
And my barista or bartender do nothing. I can't sell any coffee or drinks but I'd like to have a barista who can help with the sales once in a while, when things get hectic. Doesn't BRY control baristas?
145  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Point me in the Right Direction on: 2006 August 03, 14:58:52
If you want to make custom skintones, not default, just go in to bodyshop, start a skin project, cut and paste, color in, a little photoshop tweaking. It IS dead easy. I did it in my first week of bodyshop.
As for mesh replacements, I have noo idea Cheesy
146  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Buffet Tables on Community Lots - does it work? on: 2006 August 01, 21:03:49
Well I'll definately try that out, you guys are so convincing! And I never even thought about hot dogs, when that's the normal food for a party place, not turkey Cheesy Thanks
147  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Buffet Tables on Community Lots - does it work? on: 2006 August 01, 17:06:03
I initially didn't want to install Paladin's buffet, as it means more items in my catalog, maybe I will now, or EventHorizon's table.
But the real question is, if the table is completely empty, do the restockers fill it back up? Mine don't seem to do it. Sad
148  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Buffet Tables on Community Lots - does it work? on: 2006 August 01, 14:57:41
I have made some nice lots with ticket machines for the pay, like hang-out places or hotels. I don't want to complicate some of them with a kitchen and staff, so I just stuck in a buffet table, and hired someone to restock and someone to tidy up. (It is a sim- owned lot) But very time I have a sim go down there, they have to clean up the table and serve food again. Sometimes it appears full but all the food except the gelatin has gone bad.

I suppose I'm wrong in assuming these tables work like the ones from Sims1 Vacation pack, you don't pay for a plate of food. Your "rich" sim has to go down there and set the table by himself? For all that money? Am I missing something here?
149  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Better employees on: 2006 July 25, 21:23:29
My servo cook runs several times upstairs to the door from the basement kitchen to act as a server or salesperson (then runs back down to cook). I thought he was either hyperactive and extremely enthusiastic. Or really wanted a raise or promotion Cheesy (I don't think I had BRY on that lot though)
150  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: No business income or decay on: 2006 July 13, 21:06:25
Then why does my friggin business show up as having no managers on the phone? Maybe I should try changing managers and changing them back to see what happens-next week. Off to my vacation now Smiley
