126  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / What is the Skintone Range in Sim DNA? on: 2006 May 12, 04:20:06
I saw a 'skintone range" when I am trying to change the skintone of my sims in SimPE. What is that?
Thanks.

Last year when I was doing the Legacy challenge I discovered that Dagmar was quite lovely and had her marry my first generation Legacy sim. Marylena, the one that delivers groceries, is another quite pretty sim. Have yet to find a NPC guy that is attractive though, they all look like they got beat with an ugly stick or were victims of inbreeding.

Gordon Kim the light skinned guy, blonde hair and blue eyes  who delievers groceries in Strangetown and Cooper Rossi, a dark skinned guy, blonde hair and green eyes who delivers mail in Strangetown are quite decent looking. No extreme features. For more handsome townies, check out TSR forums. They have a lot of threads on the best looking in the default neighbourhoods.
128  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Patch is out for FFS on: 2006 May 04, 05:07:08
Gee, everyone is getting Sims packs as gifts?  I don't know if I should consider myself lucky or not that no one buys such gifts for me.  Undecided  Of course, I wouldn't mind getting a regular EP as a gift, but I don't know anyone who can afford to buy them for me.  Well, I guess my ex would have before he was my ex.  Roll Eyes  But that is moot now.  I haven't even bothered to see if anyone has this pack out there floating around.

I think you should consider yourself lucky because you can get a more useful gift  Roll Eyes
Besides, you are going to find it at ur desktop pretty soon due to post above  Tongue

Well, let the whole world know you only love sims and you'll see the gift offers coming...
129  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Patch is out for FFS on: 2006 May 03, 13:15:46
I am with ya. I was offered the original as a gift and I rejected it because it brings more troubles than benefits. But they are coming up with more of these.

Anyone remember the Glamour shopping pack due in June?
130  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Neighborhood History on: 2006 May 02, 08:56:55

If people are actually interested I can compile my own theories, but other than relating what is in the stories and in the memories, everything I write is just a theory on it.  I'm too tired to do it now (been up for 22 hours), but I can look into it.  At least for Pleasantview.  I'm not nearly as knowledgeable about Strangetown, and I've never played Veronaville.

Oh, pls do so when you have the time. I would love to read it. It would be a fun read  Grin

Pic 1 is great for horror movies.

As for the rest, let's just say they remind me of a japanese horror movie, Ju-On  Undecided
134  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Beer bottles on: 2006 April 28, 04:12:54
I understand ur pain about searching for beer bottles. Personally,I am searching for red wine glasses with half a cup of red wine in them. And believe me, I haven't found anything yet.

I found lemondae drinks, hot coco, japanese green tea BUT no red wine glasses with wine in them.
135  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sims, birds, and bees on: 2006 April 28, 04:11:25
Yes, I think that its crazy that sims could find out that they are being cheated on by viewing roses or thank you cards that dates give to their lovers/spouses and yet didn't know the kid is not theirs.
 Undecided

By the way, my fav vamp's lover died 3 generations ago. But his family members still disapprove of him looking for other lovers and always get double negatives when they caught him making out with other sims. If this is not crappy AI, I don't know what it is.

136  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: 10 children want & alien babies on: 2006 April 25, 07:11:21
Ok, so a anniversary party and a golden anniversary party is the same? Then why 2 different terms? Huh Huh

Anyway, thanks to all for the replies.
137  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: 10 children want & alien babies on: 2006 April 25, 04:05:43
Thanks Blue for the reply. So it means that there is a anniversary party for any old sims who just grow old in a marriage and a golden anniversary for a faithful couple who never cheats?

Ok, what happens if one sim has a ton of lovers before getting married? Are those considered as non faithful? Does cheating during engagement counts towards the cheating or if its just after marriage, then the counter ticks iin?
138  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: 10 children want & alien babies on: 2006 April 25, 03:45:01
Speaking of family sims, is there a difference b/w a anniversary party and a golden anniversary party? I could never figure this out and forum replies use both terms interchangably?!  Huh

Is there really a "golden anniversary" party for sims who have never cheated? I have 2 sims who have never cheated and still only the option of anniversity party came up. And the LTW is not fulfiled. Is my game broken or what?

 Embarrassed

I let sims have a max of 4 kids. That's my limit before I go mad.
139  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Disease Contagious? + Angry Employees on: 2006 April 24, 10:09:46
Thank you Rainbow for explaining all that. I appreciate it.

I tried some of his marcos but I still prefer running around mirco managing these stuff so I guess that's why I didn't know about this college rampage thingy. But I do use TJ's college adjuster to speed up the uni process. For some reasons, the uni process is a hell of a tiring task. My RL life experience is 100x more interesting than that (although I do 10x more homework than those sims...hell, don't remind me of the times I wrote my thesis. I lost 4-5 kg sleeping 4-5 hours everyday and forgetting to eat from all the stress overload).
140  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: 10 children want & alien babies on: 2006 April 24, 09:35:26
Well, just as in RL...a kid isn't really yours if it isn't yours.
sad but true. in that way, the game is brutally realistic.
141  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Disease Contagious? + Angry Employees on: 2006 April 24, 09:34:14
Wait, what is college rampage?! Is that a mod which I need and am unaware of?  Cool

Ok fine. You are "very good" to your sims then since its a prof that died and I hate them too especially their horrible clothes.

142  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: 10 children want & alien babies on: 2006 April 24, 08:40:22
Jane,

The alien kids are not considered hers because they are not related to her. The parents are the husband and the PT.
143  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Disease Contagious? + Angry Employees on: 2006 April 24, 08:38:58
Dying from sex. How sad!  Undecided
Rainbow is mean.

I had a preg sim dying once from hunger while the excited hubby is painting a picture of her big belly. That's the first death I got from food deprivation.

I think perhaps the sim is sick when getting into hot tub and spead it to the other hot-tubbers while in it? Just a random guess. I had sims who soak in that blasted thing for 3 sim days and she is not sick after that.
144  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Hair Problems? on: 2006 April 23, 04:22:15
Have you tried asking Rose to fix it?

For the first paid hair, are you using the swing version of the mesh or the non-swing version?
Trying using the non swing version and see if this occurs.
145  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: My ugliest in-game born child EVER! *UPDATED 20.4.06* on: 2006 April 22, 18:28:49
I doubt he will win any beauty contests even as an adult but he should at least become less of an eyesore.
He looks normal to me in that picture.

His eyes are bigger now but still way smaller than a normal "human bean".
Actually he looks normal from that picture. We need a closer up picture so that I can see the shape of his eyes and such Tongue
Well, post a picture of him as an adult too. I am curious if he becomes more normal looking.
146  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Santa Claus on: 2006 April 21, 16:43:29
How can you make Santa show up?
I think you should explore the game by yourself more before starting a new thread every other day asking about common game knowledge.

You can also use God's answer to everything - Google to find your answer, ya know.
147  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Motoki's OFB Hidden Hair Files on: 2006 April 21, 02:27:22
vilia,

Is that Robin from "One Piece" in your av?
148  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Peggy Sims - worth the subscription? on: 2006 April 21, 02:26:26
Blue, I know you hate them. I must have seen you complain in all the places I talked about them. The Rose Sims hairs are some of my favs. Granted some of them are bad (and would suck even if I paid 99 cents for them), but a majority was hair I would kill a thousand townies for if I am a girl  Cheesy

And they look better in the game than in Bodyshop.

And Blue, what are your favourite hairs for ur simmies? I am just curious.
149  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Weak in Math...:) on: 2006 April 21, 02:23:38
I don't know if I am weak in maths or if its OFB's issue.

My jap themed shop is pulling in the big bucks (it's now at L10) and I earn five figures everyday I am there selling expensive cheapies to townies.

The issue is with remote managing. Why is that that when I am away from the shop and try to remote manage, the shop only manage to earn a puny $1900 a day?! WTF?!

Going by the prima guide calculation, the remote income should be the equivalent of the average of the previous 5 business days' income.

What is the issue here? Angry
150  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Peggy Sims - worth the subscription? on: 2006 April 21, 02:17:21
idtaminger,

I have no problems at all with the Rose Sims donation hair. They work beautifully for me for all ages. My sim children look so beautiful like, like little barbie dolls all dressed up  Kiss

Are you using custom skin for those sims or perhaps it's ur sim have a very extreme forehead?

My problem is with TSR paid sunair hair. It is always weird for certain sims (such as the problem you described). Other players don't seem to have the same problem as me  Undecided
