I am working on updating this mod. The current version (ie v2.07) WILL break the enthusiasm mechanism in FreeTime.

Updated 12/10/2007: Made a few corrections and have added the Swim in Ocean.

WARNING: BACKUP ALL DATA BEFORE USING THIS HACK.

Install ALL packages into the downloads directory.

Note If you have Pescado sandcastle fix make sure it loads first.

Notes for use with the INTEENIMATER
Remove the CBOY_nudist_itrem.package from the downloads folder.
If you remove the inteenimater, you must put this package back.

Having both hacks installed will NOT cause any errors, but the nudist functions for hot tubs will not be used and there will be discrepancies in the outcome.

Decided that this deserves its own thread, instead of being buried in the abandoned mods thread or at the end of the old nudist hack thread.

Is this ok?  or should one load before the other? 

I recall getting a couple errors with sims when they tried to sunbathe but those may have been from another hack I was testing at the time (if I hit reset they would then sunbathe like they had planned to do, none sunbathed naked) or it may have been because I hadn't set the naked options yet. Anyway, I started my new hood all over again but soon I'll actually have sims to play again. I'll see if I get that error again.

Just make sure Pescado sandcastle fix loads first.

I've noticed a problem regarding Tai Chi. When Sims finish performing Tai Chi, they are supposed to change clothes from gym outfit to everyday automatically. With the latest nudist hack installed, however, they all get naked instead, regardless of their personality. Then, realizing they're nude, they revert back to their gym clothes, not their everyday outfits. Could you fix it please, so that they properly change clothes to everyday after they finish Tai Chi? My Asian vacationhood is full of locals and tourists hanging around in their gym outfits now.

With this hack installed, all my outgoing sims have the option to "get naked'.  However, it doesn't work for the children.  When I click on the "get naked" option for kids, it never appears in the queue.  Is this a bug or is that the way it's supposed to be?

Having nekked children allowed would be potentially pervy.

Having nekkid kids would only give Jack Thompson a hard on. This is a game, not an excuse to be sued by closet pedophiles.

Obviously Zazazu and Dizzy have never been to a nude beach or a nudist camp where nudity isn't considered perverted even for children! :)

Obviously raynuss doesn't understand the repercussions of giving a hack that allows nude children to be running around in a game to the masses. Nor does he understand the perfect storm that is JT drama. He's already gone off on the fact that third-party features can remove the blur.

It's not perverted for the children. It's perverted for the adults who get off on seeing nekked kids, even pixelated ones. Granted, that's a pretty low percentage, but why would you cater to it? Not going to happen here, kiddo. If one were inventive, one would realize that a nudist hack is not actually necessary to have your sims running about naked.

ther is a problem with inteen, when ever a female sim is on the pill the can get on bed with another sim.

I don't think it's this mod. There are no ahared behaviour's between ^Inteenimator and Cdoy Nudist.
Go to http://www.simwardrobe.com/ (http://www.simwardrobe.com/), and download Sims 2 Hack Conflict Detection Utility. Run the program to see which mods conflict. Note it will show that ^{Inteenimnator} and any FlavorPaks conflict, apperently that's normal. The order they appear in is the order they are loaded in, i.e. the second hack is loaded last and therefore it is the one that is used by the sims.

I will be checking this more thoughly later today.

Are the sims supposed to be able to sunbathe and get a massage while nude with this hack?  I thought I read somewhere in one of the many threads that they could.  In my game, the sims will swim nude, but when I choose "sunbathe", they change into their swimwear.  They also change into the towel when getting a massage. 

The problem is that InTeen is expecting to find STR# index 0x17 in 0x7F4437F2:0x12E whenever a sim is placed on birth control.  This string does not exist in CBOY's nudist mod.  If InTeenimater_B.package and CBOY_nudist.package co-exist together in the Downloads root folder together, then this is not a problem because InTeen will load AFTER the nudist mod.  If either is placed in a subfolder, then package ordering may be an issue depending on how those subfolders are named.  If CBOY_nudist.package loads after InTeen you'll get a "Missing Action in String Table" when a sim on birth control attempts to relax in bed: ergo, a jump bug.

So one can:

1. Ensure that InTeenimater_B.package loads AFTER CBOY_nudist by placing both together in the root Downloads folder and they should play fine together.

...or...

2. Alter CBOY_nudist.package to include the missing menu text at 0x7F4437F2:0x12E that InTeen expects to find and then load order becomes a non-issue.

It's not clear to me why CBOY_nudist overrides this STR# table anyway.  I can't see any text strings that have been altered.

12E is generally used for MakeActionStrings, and 7F4437F2 is Bed Globals. I'm sure they're related somehow.

Reason for necro-ing the thread.

I have noticed that my sims no longer get nude on their own, no matter the outgoing score. In fact, they all just want to run about in their undies, which while funny, just isn't the same. And, by all, I mean all of them be they shy or outgoing. I did have the original CB hack up until BV, and always had a few nudists running about, no more. Is this a feature or a bug? I'm using awesome hacks and the insim.

It's possibly a conflict in your game somewhere. I have the opposite problem. They won't stay dressed, naked at the drop of a hat they are.

And my porridge is just right, I mean, my sims seem to dress and undress according to the settings in the nudist hack.

what do sims report on adjust.../naked options.../display naked score ?

I'll have another go with the hack conflict detector and re-check the sims scores.

The conflict issue was the first thing I thought of, and was the first thing I checked. As I remember, no conflicts other then what should be expected, but those where loading in the correct order.

I shall have to do this tomorrow though, now is bedtime.

I haven't been able to replicate this. I had this problem a while ago, in an earlier release.
Have you rechecked for conflicts?

FreeTime changed some BHAVs edited by this hack. Is an update required?

The male sims seem a bit more keen on being naked since FT, for some reason the issue doesn't seem to effect the female sims. 

I haven't experienced the fitness issue, all of the sims appear to still be able to gain fitness enthusiasm regardless of what tool they use in order to obtain the enthusiasm..

The new objects seem to work with the nudist hack in (I tried with the bycycle), some activities (swimming) give you fitness enthusiasm, but the original exercise machines, tai-chi and yoga don't.

On the odd chance anyone else might find this useful:

All made nudist-aware: Sims otherwise willing to be naked in a room containing a shower or bathtub won't shoo other Sims out before making use of it.  (Doors into the room still get locked, though-- so if a Sim leaves, they may not be able to reenter.)

I don't think that's true.  I finally put this hack back in my game today, deciding I didn't want to wait any longer for an update that might never materialize.  In one of my houses I have a teen who seems obsessed with the exercise machine (the stationary bike from FT), and he often uses it autonomously.  He went from 2 fitness points to 3 in a few hours, and I did see the message indicating he had gained enthusiasm.  Macro...Hobbinate also works fine with this hack installed, as far as I can tell.  So it is definitely possible to still gain fitness enthusiasm with this hack installed.

If there are "major conflicts" (as someone stated above), I haven't run into any yet.  Does anybody know for sure what it might conflict with?

See above. It works with the exercise machine that came with FT (the one you used), it does not work with the older exercise machines. Sims gain fitness enthusiasm from swimming, but not from yoga or tai-chi. I am not sure about working out with the stereo or tv. But it does not leave many options for fitness enthusiasm.

Well, if that's the only conflict, I think I can live with it.  Thanks for clarifying.

There could be more, but all I have found so far is the Interaction BHAVs do not have the "Enthusiasm Start" and Enthusiasm End" nodes.  So I just added the 2 nodes to the Interaction BHAVs in their proper order.

Just thought I'd let you know pcgeekri, that all seems to be working as its supposed to so far.  I got a simmie to build fitness enthusiasm using an old exercise machine - I heard that that was what was borked before the update. Going to see if I can build fitness enthusiasm with yoga and tai chi too.  I'll be back.....

PcGeekri, the Conflict Detector tool is showing a conflit with Pesky's 'vacationfixes'....I don't recall the BV version doing that.  Can anything be done about it?

Oh yes, the sunbathe.....  What I did to fix that confict was delete the sunbathe bhav from Vacation fixes.  The easiest fix would be if you want the sim to get nude for sunbathe if it wants too is have the nude mod load after by renaming and putting a "z" infront of the name making it "zCBOY_..... .

Unless this hack already includes the sunbathe fixes, this will produce a conflict that will break the fix and result in invisotowels abandoned on the lot again. If a hack conflict is not described in the RTFMs as being explicitly permitted, always assume that the two hacks are fundamentally incompatible and one will destroy functionality of the other. If one of those hacks is a yellow fix, do not mix them.

So I've started playing again for a bit and threw in pcgeekri's updated version.  Noticed immediately that sims don't do the nude check anymore and wonder around homes, dorms, hotels, and community lots in the buff.  Even the shy sims.  Guess I didn't notice it before because the one house I was playing had BUY.  And it forces them to dress.

It wouldn't be too big of a problem, but Twikki Island has become a nudist colony now...

I noticed this problem as well and started to investigate the situation.  The problem is caused not by a conflict or a failure on the part of the mod but the intentional lowering of the threshold and changing values to encourage nudity.  I reverted the values to those in the original mod and am posting it here for those of you who don't want a nudist colony.

And so far it does seem to work better than the last version pcgeekri posted, sims tend to get dressed when they're supposed to and don't always wander around naked till you tell them otherwise.

I started playing with this after a long break and in my game there is pretty much no difference whether it is installed or not.  Investigation shows that some of Pescado's stuff is the likely cause, definitely the Bathroom Uses You.  I don't remember that BUY was a problem last time I had the nudist hack installed. Is anyone using this hack with BUY?

BUY will make sims redress after getting out of the shower.  Anywhere else they're free to prance around in the buff.

But this isn't new/recent to BUY, is it?  Lately, I noticed that visitors using the toilet only will also re-dress.  I haven't tested it conclusively, but I noticed visitors in swimwear, or nekkid out of the hot tub get changed when they use the toilet only.  The reason I'm unsure of my observation is because the 'hood I'm playing right now is poor.  There's only one lot with a hot tub, where I have residents and visitors roaming around in anything other than standard dress.

In any case, the old BV version of the nudist hack (in my BV game) still works with whatever rules BUY is imposing currently.  Residents who are very outgoing still occasionally walk out of the shower in the buff.  If it's borked in FT, I'd take a hard look at the recent update attempts first, over BUY.

I am new to this forum. But a long playing simmer....:)

CBoy's Nudist Hack - before it was Ebruere's nudist, what I think was the father of all nudist hacks.

Now, as both mods seem to be abandoned right now and since BV I wasn't too glad with the solutions... meanwhile it's freetime  ;D

Nevertheless, thanks to all who worked to find patches and make compatibility for the newest versions.

The last weeks I investigated the mod and have allmost all modules rewritten. I imported the actual ft-BHAVS and added the new ones (Ballet etc.)
Also included nudist behaviour for children and toddlers.... it is much more natural. that was the ONLY reason to include this.

I am working on new calculating routine, to include beach & temperature behaviour. But this is in an early state and exaggerates the score too much, i made for this the original calculator chooseable per menu.

BTW, of course J.M.'s sunbath patch is included ....

Even Ebruere & Crammyboy are the origins, this hack now goes in version 3 with this, as it is much more then a simple compatibility patch.

Now I reached a state, where i can go in the beta-testing phase. But am not sure where to post it :)

I will make it awailable in around a week, so comments and hints are welcome.

So what do you say, where should I post this ?
