Title: About JMP's Lot Sync Timer... Post by: blackvelvet on 2007 September 20, 13:10:03 ...Could someone pls tell what the 'Time Warp' feature does? I read through the official thread but couldn't see an answer. Thanks.

For instance you can set the time on the lot to 12:15 Monday, which is a lot more accurate than you can do with cheats. Use it carefully; very bad things can happen. If, let's say, a sim is at school on Thursday and you change the time to Saturday they won't return until the schoolbus brings them home on Monday. Title: Re: About JMP's Lot Sync Timer... Interesting way to lose the kids for a while though. ;) Title: Re: About JMP's Lot Sync Timer... Post by: ZephyrZodiac on 2007 September 21, 19:44:56 Useful feature though when you want to move a family without them becoming out of sync with their neighbours.

(Under Sims2 Objects - Other Objects - Seasons and Weather Controller). It will allow you to change to a different season quadrant. Very useful, unless you move out your sims on the last day of the first season every time. It doesn't allow you to change the day of season, but I guess you can't have everything. You can fanangle it by changing season length, then changing season at the right time, then changing back.
Queen's Cove has two seasons: hotter than Hades and torrential rain. It was weird to leave the rain on one lot and have it sunny, bright, and the sim equivalent of 110 degrees on another. That's what the Season Length option is for .. the name is a bit misleading: it doesn't change the length of all seasons, it changes how many days there are left in the current season. So, if you move someone in and it's the 3rd day of Winter (2 days left in Winter) in the rest of the hood on that morning, you can set the season to winter and the length to 2 and everything is back in sync =) Stupid Eaxis. Why didn't they just make it like that in the first place? |
