Title: Defaults Post by: ChibyMethos on 2007 September 20, 12:22:22 I'm sure that this has been asked before, but how do you make a skintome a default over-ride? I'd like to see some townies with more radical skin; blue, purple, pink, ect.
Title: Re: Defaults Post by: B on 2007 September 20, 13:26:44 If you already created the skin tone you want to use as a default replacement, this tutorial (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=129993) should be all you need.
Title: Re: Defaults Post by: ChibyMethos on 2007 September 20, 13:42:17 Thanks, B. I'll give it a try :)
Title: Re: Defaults Post by: Gwill on 2007 September 20, 13:56:54 You can also make skins townie friendly without replacing the standards (that means you can have more than 4 colours among other things). There were some instructions on how to do it in the forums here a while ago I don't have the link handy, sorry.
Title: Re: Defaults Post by: notveryawesome on 2007 October 01, 07:09:27 Just do a search for 'geneticized skin' and you should be able to find the tutorials easily (or at least links to them).
Title: Re: Defaults Post by: Invisigoth on 2007 October 02, 01:28:02 I keep a bunch of MATY tutorial type threads under a HEELLLPP!!! folder in my bookmarks, so I happen to have the geneticizing skins thread (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,5681.msg163660.html#msg163660) handy. Since the post that explains the process isn't the OP I linked directly to that post so that you don't have to scroll through everything to find it.
