Title: Annoying BV Glitch Post by: Skarlath on 2007 September 16, 14:13:32 I've been having a really annoying BV glitch. >:(
I sent my sim Josslyn on vacation. Everything was fine and dandy for a while. Then, I sent her to a community lot. At the community lot she attended all three tours. A few sim hours later the game decided that there were no playable characters on the lot. This has happened on two occasions after going on all three tours while on a community lot. The first time it happened she had invited a guest over, the second time around she was on vacation by herself. Is there a fix for this? Check to make sure all your hacks are compatible with or updated for BV. If not, remove the offenders from your game.
Title: Re: Annoying BV Glitch Post by: Zoltan on 2007 September 17, 04:33:33 The older version of the Phone Hack could be the culprit; that 'freezing' happens in my game with the older versions with a new EP...maybe remove it and use the updated version.

Title: Re: Annoying BV Glitch Post by: jolrei on 2007 September 21, 15:58:23 Agree with jsalemi, especially after the post regarding problems when using comm lot payphones. Problems of this sort usually seem to be hack conflict related or the result of being "oldversioned".
Check latest director's cut for BV and update hacks. If problem persists, unload all nonawesome hacks that might relate to comm lots or telephones. |
