Title: How dangerous is a .package.package file?
Post by: Strangel on 2007 July 21, 23:36:34
...because I have just found several in one of my downloads subfolders. Most of my packages are properly labeled, but I remember reading someone's posts (I want to say Lorelei's) about finding .package.package files. I tried searching for different topics, but I couldn't find the thread.

Should I bother with hunting down any that are labeled as such and deleting part of the file name?

It's the Clean Installer, that adds an unneeded .package extension under certain circumstances; I always delete it, but it's mostly because I'm obsessive-compulsive :P, I don't think it will be of any harm.
