Title: Moronic Question Post by: nekonoai on 2007 June 26, 19:02:06 Is there a way to change a .sims2skin file into a .sims2pack file?
I'm trying to get my self-sim to upload and be accessable to people for torture, mutilation, etc. However, it's a sims2skin file and it's 5.72MB. I've noticed that most people's self-sims are in the 100-200k range. WTF? Can I open a sims2skin file in the clean installer and repackage? or do I hafta do something in bodyshop? Why's it so damn big when it's MAXIS only content? :P Why am I such a retard? XD Can you save a sim from in game and share it that way? Title: Re: Moronic Question Post by: Gwill on 2007 June 26, 19:30:41 I suggest just uploading the raw .package (copy from saved sims folder).
I have no idea what a .sims2skin file is. Never seen any of those. Title: Re: Moronic Question Post by: Jelenedra on 2007 June 26, 19:35:27 Sims2skin files are used for custom skintones.
If you were using "Maxis" content, the sim you made would have something pointing it to use a Maxis skintone, as you don't need to include something everyone has. Title: Re: Moronic Question Post by: nekonoai on 2007 June 26, 19:47:12 when I packaged it from Bodyshop [this was back in basegame days], it spit out a sims2skin file.
Yeah, I'll install myself and then pull out the .package file and upload it that way. |
