Title: Collection Icons Post by: shastakiss on 2007 June 09, 02:15:38 First post, first upload - nervous! :-[
Thanks to SaraMK's post here (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,4629.0.html), I made some of the game images into collection icons :) (http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z43/snoopy1625/sims2icons_screenshot.gif) The zip here (http://simfil.es/168776/) contains 3 smaller ones : Interests - speech bubbles like the sumo wrestler Catalog - all those 2-tone blue images Color - wants/fears/memories, turn-ons, etc. I learned a lot and there are a lot of them! :P Any jpgs you like go into the My Documents > EA Games > The Sims 2 > Collections > Icons folder. I'm on a mac and don't have SimPE but thanks to its creators and SaraMK, and also Kimberly's info here (http://kimberspace.mattwork.potsdam.edu/sunnisims/projectO.php/). ;) Let me know how/if/what I did wrong ::) Title: Re: Collection Icons Post by: Simsample on 2007 June 09, 12:27:33 The media File archives work okay, but the three you attached to the post are empty.
ETA: The icons work fine in game- they all show up. Thanks! Title: Re: Collection Icons Post by: J. M. Pescado on 2007 June 09, 12:45:55 0k zip files are not terribly useful. Please hang up and try again.
Title: Re: Collection Icons Post by: SaraMK on 2007 June 09, 13:19:34 Glad someone's found a use for them. :)

I am going to fire up the game a little later, and I can't wait to use them. Thanks ;D Title: Re: Collection Icons Post by: koowll on 2008 September 11, 00:14:09 Hi! I'd like to know how do I put it in Collections folder... Must I put only the ".DS_Store" into this folder or this archive and the folders extracted together?
Title: Re: Collection Icons Post by: Simsample on 2008 September 11, 00:16:50 No, the DSStore files are attribute files used by Mac; just delete them.
Title: Re: Collection Icons Post by: koowll on 2008 September 11, 00:31:36 OK... and the folders I extract... is only put them in Collections' Folder? I'm saying this 'cause usually they come with ".packege" and there is no one there with this extension.

I'm saying this 'cause usually they come with ".packege" and there is no one there with this extension. It's because they are just icons for the collections, not actual collections... hence why they go in My Documents > EA Games > The Sims 2 > Collections > Icons |
