Title: Neighbourhood water overflows - Seasons glitch? Post by: TheQuietOne on 2007 May 31, 17:34:11 I've seen people on other forums mention this before. Haven't found the solution yet.
All neighbourhoods with water have overflowed, from hood view water covers large blocks of land. If you zoom in it receeds to dry land, zoom out and you're in Costner's Waterworld again. Happens with Bluewater, Pleasantview an' all so it's not the regular planed flooding for some sea side lots. From a lot placed on flooded terrain everything looks fine - no water. Happened to me after instaling Seasons but some others report problems prior to Seasons. Any ideas on how to fix that? Already shuffled hacks and CC - no change. Fiddled with game options - same. Decent card, plenty of RAM etc. Title: Re: Neighbourhood water overflows - Seasons glitch? Post by: ZiggyDoodle on 2007 May 31, 20:15:26 No idea.
Call FEMA? ;D Title: Re: Neighbourhood water overflows - Seasons glitch? Post by: gethane on 2007 May 31, 20:41:08 This happened to me when I installed the last seasons patch. I ended up reinstalling and using a backup and NOT patching after that.

Then use Code: boolprop simpleTerrain false Title: Re: Neighbourhood water overflows - Seasons glitch? Post by: Dea on 2007 May 31, 20:57:00 This happens to me when I use custom neighborhood camera files and way before Seasons was installed.
Title: Re: Neighbourhood water overflows - Seasons glitch? Post by: TheQuietOne on 2007 June 01, 17:30:19 Thank you all. Will try out both suggestions and leave FEMA out of this (i'm sure they are busy elsewhere).
Get back to you and tell you how it went. |
