Title: Seasons on Sale
Post by: syberspunk on 2007 March 04, 21:40:10
For those of you who have been waitin, Seasons is on sale at Circuit City this week: $17.99 (http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=171444)

If you wait longer, who knows, it might be even cheaper.  I remember seeing Pets on sale at Best Buy for as low as $12.99 once.  I was hopin that Best Buy would have a sale on them as well, but it's still $29.99 this week.  But it might drop later.

Incidentally, the Glamour Life Stuff Pack is also on sale: $7.99 (http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/The-Sims-2-Glamour-Life-Stuff-PC/sem/rpsm/oid/159056/catOid/-16501/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do)

It seems to definitely pay to wait for these games to come out rather than buy the first week or pre-order. :P

Nifty. With luck I can pick up Seasons at the discount and maybe they'll have the Holiday stuff handy at a low low price too, since I refuse to buy ANYTHING that requires I link my computer to EA.

Meh. Why buy it again? Just get the downloadable, non-EA-link version.

Is there such a thing as a downloadable.. non-link.. holiday stuff?

I have Sims2 Holiday Edition base, but dammit I am not paying $20.00 for a full kit (with half the stuff I already have) nor am I willing to allow EA any extra access to my computer.

BitTorrent. If you already paid for it just grab it from there.
