Ha ha - I doubt JMP would do that in a thousand years.
 ;D

You've probably been told about Nailati's default face replacements - I think in Peasantry - try searching the name (maxon hopes now she's spelt it right).

JMP has mods which make NPCs less redundant, and make them more expensive.
Natali has default face replacements, which will make new NPCs prettier.

You probably mean one of those.

Actually, it's not Pescado who's done something about this, but rather a couple of members of this forum contributed this in the Peasantry section.
Nailati created replacement face templates - http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,3804.0.html (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,3804.0.html), and Motoki wrote a tutorial on how to replace face templates - http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,1280.0.html (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,1280.0.html)

You might want to combine that with a default replacement skin and default replacement eyes and your townies and NPC's will be pretty as they can be.

I also use the teleport scrub and an object that allows me to alter their appearance (change appearance, facial surgery, change clothing) to fine tune their look.  As a result my NPC's are no longer pariahs, as they used to be in my previous game.  They are now fit to be interacted with, and even brought into the family.

If anything, I think Pescado would be more likely to do the contrary :  make them uglier and more ornery.  His fantasy land is not our fantasy land :D
