Title: Dumping hoods Post by: ZiggyDoodle on 2007 February 28, 07:06:51 As EP5 includes a new base hood, complete with families, townies, and NPCs ( :-\ ) would dumping Strangerhood and Veronaville be worthwhile, since I never play these hoods and don't intend to?
Or would it make absolutely no difference on load time and the # of character files? Thanks... Title: Re: Dumping hoods Post by: miros on 2007 February 28, 08:00:22 Shouldn't make any difference. You can always get fresh copies by renaming your The Sims 2 folder and let the game recreate them.
Title: Re: Dumping hoods Post by: SaraMK on 2007 February 28, 13:03:04 The number of neighborhoods doesn't appear to make much, if any, difference in loading time. Then again, if you don't want them, why keep them?

Very strange. I think they did that so it would show up first in the Neighborhood screen. Title: Re: Dumping hoods Post by: witch on 2007 March 02, 10:16:01 So it won't affect our custom hoods that start at N004? I'm still playing Maxis hoods for hack testing, haven't put my custom ones back in yet.
