See, I get into my favorite neighborhood, and THIS happens:

After I picked myself up off the floor, it occurred to me that this is probably a Very Bad Thing.

I yanked all custom content. It stopped happening. I put the custom content back in small groups. STILL not happening anymore. I went through all my custom content without successfully isolating the hack/skin/whatever that's causing the problem.

I put all the custom content back. The bug is back.

In CAS, when debug mode is activated, the alien and zombie skins no longer show up under the custom content daisy. But, if I click the "random sim" button, the skins are both used in creating random sims. This to me immediately suggested that something had made the skins genetic, which can cause skins to vanish from the list of available skins in CAS. However, like I said, I simply cannot find the hack/skin/whatever that's doing this.

Any ideas?

Your problem can be caused by changing the flags or the genetic value on the Zombie SkintoneXML, so you should look for this resource (Type: 0x4C158081, Group: 0x2C17B74A, Instance: 0xAEA5EA7A)

I had exactly the same thing happen the other day.  Freaked me right out until I realized I'd installed Theo's special skin and eye unhiders to work on a project and forgot to take them out again.  *Facepalms*

I was suspicious of that, but I didn't remember having posted the Alien skin unhider anywhere, so I was unsure what could be the cause  ;D

Anyway, I found the culprit. It was one of those giant-string-of-numbers files. Must have snuck in somehow.  ???

Well, I *TOLD* you I've seen it, due to people linking to it. It remains unexplained what a "Dragon Ball" is or what they're DOING, though. Or why it's so interesting. Most people don't typically react with much interest to constipation.

Dragonballs grant wishes. Evil people want them for world domination or what not. That's the gist of the show. The amazing part is how long the animators can stretch out 5 minutes of time in the show. They take forever to actually advance the plotline. I haven't watched the show in years. I have a feeling that I haven't missed much.

Do they have blue hair, boots that are like robot boots, and fly around in space in cool poses, and have glowy fist effects while screaming things like "DOUBLE DEEEEUUUUUUCE!" in constipated poses?

While blue hair tends to be the province of females in DBZ (Bulma, namely), it did just occur to me that Piccolo looks remarkably like a Maxis alien, except he has white sclera and naturally angrier (and squarer) eyes.
