Title: Failing to initialize Post by: kutto on 2007 January 26, 15:02:23 Quote The application failed to initialize (0xc0000142). Click OK to terminate the application. I am currently using a different computer than my own because of this error. It is happening to iexplore.exe. Now before you say use a different browser, IE is working fine. It can open, I can open windows and explore just fine. However, this is not just some random harmless error. My anti-virus, my firewall, and my LAN are all not working because of this error. I've tried re-installing IE, but to no avail. I'm really not sure what to do here. Microsoft (http://support.microsoft.com/search/default.aspx?query=The+application+failed+to+initialize+%280xc0000142%29&x=0&y=0&catalog=LCID%3D1033&spid=&qryWt=&mode=r&cus=False)
The most common thing I can see is having too many applications/processes running at the same time. |
