Title: Just wondering befor I do it Post by: Bushwack Bill on 2007 January 13, 19:03:04 I moved out my sims "boyfriend/baby daddy" and now he's in the family bin. I have no interest in playing him but I din't want to delete him because I thought the kid would have no memory of his old man. Is that true?
Title: Re: Just wondering befor I do it Post by: J. M. Pescado on 2007 January 13, 19:19:17 Do not delete sims in the family bin. The Lot Sync Timer provides a method of simply fastforwarding through the lives of boring families while retaining sync, so you don't actually have to play them to elapse a given day on that lot.
Title: Re: Just wondering befor I do it Post by: jsalemi on 2007 January 13, 20:55:22 You could also just plop him on an empty lot, and use something like the testing cheats or Inge's transporter bush to turn him into a townie.
Title: Re: Just wondering befor I do it Post by: V on 2007 January 13, 21:03:20 or plop him on an empty lot with all the necessary requirements for life, press three and go take a shower or something. He'll probably be dead by the time you come back.

How exactly do you do this?Title: Re: Just wondering befor I do it Post by: Sknsarp on 2007 January 13, 23:07:09 Do not delete sims in the family bin. At all? or is it okay to delete the ones that haven't been used yet?Title: Re: Just wondering befor I do it Post by: ElfPuddle on 2007 January 13, 23:26:43 Do not delete them at all. It's a Very Bad Thing (tm).
