Title: notownieregen, antiredundancy and Pets Post by: chickeessims on 2006 December 30, 15:08:25 I recently downloaded the "notownieregen" and the "antiredundancy" hacks.
I then installed Pets (I got it for christmas) and then reinstalled the hacks. I then used the cheat "deletecallcharacters" so my neighbourhood was completely empty and started my hood story and playing with my families and sims. When it came to Ringing for a maid or an exterminator (and any other person under the service category) My sim would do the actions like they were calling for a service sim, and then the game would jump them back, and no dialogues would appear to ask me if i wanted to hire someone. I then reinstalled the entire game and tried again with the hacks, and yet again it hasn't worked. I was wondering if you knew a) why it was doing this and b) how I could get around this or Reset my NPCs. It used to let me hire Maids etc when I only had OFB even if i did "deleteallcharacters" and had the hacks installed. Thanks Becky Title: Re: notownieregen, antiredundancy and Pets Post by: jrd on 2006 December 30, 15:20:47 Two problems there:
1) Service calls are broken in Pets. Get the fix (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ffs/pets/hacks/petsp0-servicecallfix.zip). 2) Deleteallcharacters slightly corrupts a 'hood. There is a better way (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php?topic=5861.0) to start with a clean 'hood. Title: Re: notownieregen, antiredundancy and Pets Post by: J. M.
