Title: Testing cheats slow down Post by: speedreader on 2006 December 27, 22:33:28 Hard drive crashed and burned over the summer. Since then my reloaded game slows to a crawl whenever I turn testing cheats on. Otherwise the game runs fine. The biggest difference between then and now is a change in virus scanners, but I did try turning off the scanner and running my game to see if it made a difference. Still crawled. Any suggestions?

New HD - Same make as original, twice as fast. Low level scan disk. You probably have some bad sectors. I'll give that a try. Thanks dizzy. |
