Title: Zombie/werewolf skin glitch Post by: buddha pest on 2006 December 12, 23:29:06 I have a zombie who has hairy werewolf skin even after being cured of lycanthropy. Her head is not hairy, just her body.
And when she WAS a werewolf, she kept that hairy body day and night. She never changed like a normal werewolf, nor did she ever get a hairy face. Has anyone else had this? Is there a way I can fix her skin in SimPe? (I'd need specific details on how to do that. I'm a tard.) Title: Re: Zombie/werewolf skin glitch Post by: jsalemi on 2006 December 12, 23:35:25 I think the latest lot debugger has an option that appears in such cases to clear up the furry skin.

Okay, cool. For now, since I'm in the game, I'll try having her vampire husband bite her. Something else odd just happened too. She's suddenly able to skip and run despite her zombieness. I dunno how she got so bugged up, poor thing, but I'm kind of happy with this. ETA: Scratch that last bit. She's actually lost her zombie walk completely. This change happened right after she was electrocuted. Title: Re: Zombie/werewolf skin glitch Post by: gethane on 2006 December 13, 03:17:13 :P ;D
there are not enough smilies to convey my loling at that last bit Title: Re: Zombie/werewolf skin glitch Post by: jsalemi on 2006 December 13, 16:22:16 ETA: Scratch that last bit. Sounds like she got an extra charge to the ol' batteries. :) Title: Re: Zombie/werewolf skin glitch Post by: buddha pest on 2006 December 14, 17:26:55 Is there a way I can fix her skin in SimPe? (I'd need specific details on how to do that. I'm a tard.) So, back to this. The lot debugger did not work. Vampiring her did not work. Re-werewolfing her and curing her numerous times did not work. Title: Re: Zombie/werewolf skin glitch Post by: LynnMar on 2006 December 15, 00:28:03 I had to kill four sims yesterday and one of them was JM. :(
I had the same problem, I would cure them and they would get their regular face and head back but their body would stay hairy. I tried two different werewolf hacks to cure them but it did not help. I had them drink bottles and bottles of lyranthropy but it did not help either. Then I tried to age them up or down but my game froze on me. I did get JM fixed one time, I had to kill him but some other sim wanted to make him a zombie so I made him a zombie and he lost the hairyness but he would not leave well enough alone, he kept begging to be a werewolf so I changed him into one and now look what happened to him. ::) sorry JM. :-* I am through with all werewolfs in my game, fed up with them. lol Title: Re: Zombie/werewolf skin glitch Post by: buddha pest on 2006 December 15, 00:52:49 You know, I tried killing and re-zombifying her too. Didn't work.
Title: Re: Zombie/werewolf skin glitch Post by: Giggy on 2006 December 15, 22:48:07 maybe dezombifying
use insim (Not kitten killer!) to dezombify her Title: Re: Zombie/werewolf skin glitch Post by: kewian on 2006 December 15, 22:51:09 Insimenator worked on mine. Life state....
Title: Re: Zombie/werewolf skin glitch Post by: buddha pest on 2006 December 16, 03:12:30 Okay, that worked...sort of.
But now she's stuck with vampire skin, from her brief stint as a vamp, I guess. Incidentally, the werewolf hairiness fix still shows up as an option on the lot debugger, but still does nothing. NO idea what the hell is up with this chick. Insim won't fix the vampire skin, so I re-zombified. She's all blue and wonderful again, and if I just ignore the red eyes, she looks much more presentable than before at least. Title: Re: Zombie/werewolf skin glitch Post by: J. M. Pescado on 2006 December 16, 03:56:49 Stuck-vampire should be fixed in vampirefixes, although vampires made pre-vampirefixes may be still stuck. Stuck-werewolf-furriness is cured in the Lot Debugger. Never seen stuck zombies, zombies are supposed to be a permanent state.
Title: Re: Zombie/werewolf skin glitch Post by: buddha pest on 2006 December 16, 05:06:31 I have current vampirefixes.
Lot debugger did not unstick her hairiness no matter how many times I tried. Stuck zombieness was not the issue. |
