This only works because of an override mod in the Pets install folder though (since EAMaxis changed the phones). Maybe you are missing this one? Title: Re: Can't throw parties? Post by: blubug on 2006 November 28, 16:33:08 Hey, I was just wondering, I haven't got any object packs, just the normal expansions, but again, I was wondering because I have a "HolidayNewYearsPartyPhoneCall_Override.package" pack in my overrides folder, and I didn't put it there myself. What does this folder mean? What do the contents mean exactly, should I be checking this folder at all? Just curious- haven't come across any problems or anything. :)
Title: Re: Can't throw parties? Post by: jrd on 2006 November 28, 18:09:10 Read above. It is a clunky workaround by EA to fix a bug which was introduced by EA Games in their own product, which won't manifest itself unless you install HP05 or HP06.

Post by: spookymuffin on 2006 November 28, 21:19:52 Well, I found the overrides folder on my pets disk, copied it to where its supposed to be(based on my sisters install) and it didnt fix the problem, I can throw new years eve parties now though(not that I ever plan on it)
