Title: Deleting character files for dummies. Post by: JenL on 2006 November 26, 15:32:27 Is there an easy-to-follow tutorial for doing this? I have a large custom neighbourhood and want to delete some of the old character files I didn't even play, and also some unwanted strays and townies, before I get a BFBVFS situation happening.
I have some Simpe experience, and am aware I will have to delete wants and fears, and memories, to do this. I have looked around for a tutorial, but can't seem to find one anywhere! Thanks! Unless anyone has a way that sounds even easier...Is the best way to use the lotdebugger, do a bunch of stuff in the middle, delete the file in simpe, then delete the character file? You'll do fine, especially if you make a backup first.

Will have to have a good look around before I touch anything! |
