I am so glad that you could show the compatible NL hacks, and the hacks which need update.

It's just that the hacks that need update I need (carpoolfix, dailygardener, and phone hack).

But, I am glad that you enterred into action - this is the only site that the modders didn't write which of it's mods are compatible with NL or not.

I invite all the NL players to thank Dr Boris, and write their problems here.

Yes, I too was glad to see a post from the good Doctor.  I wait patiently for the phone hack  ::)

I am very happy to see Boris' list as well...and now I'm doubly glad we just named our new kitten Boris, as the good doctor seems a worthy namesake :)

I really appreciate the list so much thanks goes out to Boris. I was just too darned nervous to use any hacks based solely on other users saying it didn't appear to cause problems, so this solves that issue and I can fix the damned whatsthis, abortable bed making, and clothes browsing that drive me insane. Inge has a lesswhiny type hack, so all we need now is the big one, the mother of all hacks, the phonehack, which to avoid getting shot I will just say I am, ahem, patiently waiting for. Well if you consider constantly screaming at the damned game and selling their phone and cells back patiently. ;)

An official list is VERY welcome so we can start putting stuff back in worry free.   I did the best I could but i'm not familiar enough with the datafiles to go looking to see what is and is not working.

Could someone please post a link to this list? I seem to have missed it. Thanks!

I saw coffee cup hack on that list, but it's not on the list of all hacks (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ffs/hacks/) or in the armory. Isn't that the one that fixes the bug with the maid?

I would say "spank you" but then I would look like a young "thinks he is funny" boy of suspect intelligence, so instead I will say "Flog you mercilessly" since that statement seems to fit better with the general tone of this forum anyway.

Very useful list.  Why is NoStrangerDance obsolete?  Are sims no longer autonomously dancing with zero-relationship sims?

I have to concur with gali here.  What about nohomework?  I don't presently have it...I have one called "homework-sometimes-faster-fun" from someone over at MTS2, but I would prefer the nohomework hack!

That product was entirely discontinued ages ago. In fact, it was never really *ON* the product roster, it was made entirely at Carrigon's request and was never really maintained.

I've never downloaded a .package file.  Do I need to do anything besides save it in my Downloads folder?  I mean, I don't have to unzip it or extract it or anything, right?

Oh! and SJActress, to answer your question, .package files go right in the Download directory (or subdirectory, if you prefer). There's no unzipping needed. :)

Yes, the .package files go in your download folder. You can make a subdirectory for hacks if you like, easier to take them in and out I think. The .zip files and the .rar files are just compressed files, that's why you have to extract the .package or skin files from the compressed ones.

Just save the downloaded file on your desktop or wherever you want, copy it (right click, copy), go to the Downloads folder in My Documents/EA Games/TS2, and paste it there (right click on an empty space, paste).

Talking of the phonehack, I haven't had any "Why haven't you called?" calls at all since re-installing Dizzy's lateral calls mod.  May just be a coincidence (possibly because my Sims are going out and about more and meeting their friends that way), but even with houses I've not played since the expansion I'm not getting them.  Not a single solitary one.  Before I installed it, I was getting loads of the things.  The only calls I get now are either to invite my Sim out or just to have a brief chat.
