Come on, this wasn't an unreasonable question. LOL The codes/downloads or at least links to them do usually magically appear here. It's a smidge early yet, though. Especially for all 3. Amazon has theirs backordered.  ::)

Of course, it does usually help to request things using proper capitalization and punctuation.

I think you might have to wait. I've got a feeling that the codes for the other pre-order bonuses have not yet been released, seeing as the game still has about 9 hours before release.

Well it was already released on the downloader, but the people who got it that way said they didn't get any email about the snowglobe. Perhaps they will send it out today? *shrug*

Well I should have said people on the BBS claim to have it, but who knows. It must be out somewhere because it was already up on bittorent yesterday.  ;D

People in the US are getting it just today.  It will be on our store shelves today, and we are able to download it today as well.  I think people overseas are having to wait a few extra days.

It's nice, at least it's just a simple little update .exe like the other Holiday Pack was so no EAmpire spyware!

I noticed that too. It was basically like a patch. Really easy to run. They didn't even bother to do any anti-piracy protection. I guess since it's just a bunch of old stuff with a few new things mixed in they don't care too much.

Actually, I wish the stuff packs were done like this. I hate they they make a new exe when there really is no need to.

Someone on the BBS did comment that it's kind of crappy that they held 3 objects out of the pack to use as bonuses since this pack only has a few new items as it is and I kind of agree.

The few new Christmas things are kind of meh, but the Asian clothing items were really well done. I think the kimonos are alot nicer than some of the custom content ones I've seen.

Yes the new Clothings are really nice plus the new Hair for the thai Clothing.

I have the blizardous bioshpere now.   ;D   I'm waiting to see what others have gotten.  I still would really really like to have the glowman, but I don't have it.   :-[   I have heard that it's really hard to get your code out of Gamestop.  I was told that people have called Gamestop to ask about the code and were told that EA hasn't sent it to them yet, but they were suppose to have it by Thursday (yesterday).  Has anyone preordered from Gamestop? Has anyone been successful about getting their code from them?

Others have said they are having a terrible time with EA., but I pre-ordered from EA and I would have to say all in all they did a pretty good job in deliverying to me.   :)

I don't know why these darned holiday bonuses are proving so hard to get. All the other ones were easy as pie to get ahold of.

I usually order from EB/GS, but I wasn't in a hurry this time.  :-\ Usually, you can't  easily get the code from them in the store, you have to have gotten it online, and then half the time, they forget to include it in the shipping notification like they are supposed to, and end up sending out a separate email.

i tried the three links, but it asks for a redemption code....   oh wait, the single link for the snowglobe worked. thanks!

maybe i should order online.  i dont mind paying for the stuff.  but im not sure if im a few hours too late or not...

i think they had to make a new .exe  for like glamour life, there is the new chair-sofa thngs... hm, we kinda had that with the funny benches in the bowling center.

I am really surprise because they did't told us they will do this.

It might be better to secretly sent to other, but I have post this so I should not put it on any download site and tell url to others by PM. That is my way to share since they can not know what I do.


I just send 2 codes to a friend  :P with "tell no one" in that PM  ::). And I know that word will make the codes spread around like wildfire  ;D I am evil  ::)



They have phoned me to warn me once when I post info about Glamour Life when they update the info before other sites so I should not do anything they might consider bad for them again. They go my phone number, know where I live & study. I don't want to mess with them.

Exactly. There's not even any money involved for crying out loud. We've shared all the bonus items in the past and are sharing the current ones now right here in this very thread. If they were going to do something about it, they would have. EA would only look bad to try and prosecute such a case, particularly when no money is changing hands and the person doing the sharing legitimately paid for the product. And no judge would ever waste taxpayer's money hearing such a silly case.

Argon dear, have I told you lately... just how much I love you? Lol. That totally made my day/night. I spent the last 24 hours trying to reformat my machine and everytime I am this close to getting it working properly, something else fux0rz it up, yet again. I have given up for the night. I am just about ready to toss my machine down the stairs. :P

I am now lying down in bed, trying to recuperate from the many hours lost in frustration and pain. Hopefully I can regroup my strength and efforts to tackle the frackin thing tomorrow.

There were bonus items with HHS?  I bought the Holiday Edition (it came with HHS, and I didn't get it last year) and I didn't see jack squat about "bonus items" anywhere on the packaging or inside it.   :-\

There are some place offering codes and they usually sent that code to you via e-mail if you pre-order  ;).

W00t for new laptops. I totally need a new desktop and laptop. My laptop is in such sad state. But it's so cute. It's a tiny SONY Vaio notebook, that is actually the size of a notebook. It's really thin and lightweight. I can't really play games on it, but I really love how tiny it is. But my sister accidentally kicked it off the bed, and the battery no longer locks into it. :P And after I brought it on a trip to visit my cousins in Montreal, when I came back it no longer works off the batter. I always have to keep it plugged into the power supply. :( I don't want to blame my cousin, who borrowed it briefly, because I can't remember for sure, but I think it was working fine before then... oh well. On top of that, I dropped it myself :P and now at the corner where the power supply plugs in, the casing is split, so if I lift it, it kind of opens up. It's pretty ghetto.


Gah. Why do you have to be such a killjoy. Ugh. I was almost ready to give you pass, but if things get any worse around here, I'm gonna have to start using that ignore button. :P

in there was a list of all the pet codes for unlocking appearance things.  but um, where do you put them?

i got my first promotion and it unlocked pink dog fur.  my how useful!  i want a racoon built over a cat like we had in sims1.  that would be fun.

In the game options screen, lower left corner, there's a key.  Click it.  It opens up another screen.  Click the key at the bottom to add a code.

get the kissingpoint zip file from

and then unzip and install to My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\LockedBins

save your old kissingpoints.package first, just incase

there, everything should now be unlocked, including the pet pre-order incentives.
