Title: Game crashes on "change appearance" Post by: lizzycat on 2006 October 24, 20:05:53 this is with Pets - of course the first thing I did was take out my hacks - same problem - so I tried vanilla - OK
So it is somewhere in the DL folder - took out lipstick-eyeliner-eyeshadow and earrings etc - same problem (heard a rumor that those items were causing this) Does anyone have any ideas? If you are experiencing other problems with the sim humans, it may not be the same problem. Put a mirror in the living room and try change pet appearance.
Title: Re: Game crashes on "change appearance" Post by: verdaeni on 2006 October 30, 07:09:44 ive found that yeah, pets go through endless jockying to get to just the right position by the mirror, most often ending in the change appearance of command failing with no message at all, when it should give that 'no space' error bubble. but it shouldnt CRASH the game.

Those are known to crash to desktop during change appearance and buying clothing. |
