Does exactly what it says on the tin. Director's Cut exclusive hacks are not included (yet).

DISCLAIMER: Make sure you read each and every one of these, as there will be a test later. Do not simply dump them in a directory and forget about them. File(s) is/are provided as is, and is/are not likely to be updated until the newest piece of EA-ian propaganda is released, or if I screw something up.

UPDATE THE FIRST: 00:39, 12 November 2006 (GMT) Fixed bug in renaming process, some new RTFMs added.
UPDATE THE SECOND: 19:31, 28 January 2007 (GMT) TwoJeffs RTFMs added in separate ZIP file. Note that not all of TwoJeffs hacks have an RTFM or Readme file.
UPDATE THE THIRD: 21:01, 17 March 2007 (GMT) FFS RTFMs updated for Seasons. Note that doorbell-quieter.txt actually contains the text for the outdated hack antigypsywalkby, this is a RTFM bug, and is therefore Pescado's fault, and not mine.
UPDATE THE FOURTH: 20:11, 7 April 2007 (BST/WEST) After many weeks of procrastination, TwoJeffs RTFMs updated for Seasons. To avoid a 7-Zip error, one of the "Homework Sometimes" RTFMs has had a " 2" added to the end of the file name.

You did such a wonderful job of providing all these RTFM's that I just hate to mention this....


Many of them are wrong. Each RTFM that is in error, is for the mod that is alphabetically to it's right. For example, fasterbuyclothes is actually the RTFM for FFSdebugger.

Alphabetically, the errors seem to begin with commlightson, which actually contains the text for Community Lot Skilling, and goes through marriage-postmortum.  Missingmanager fix to the end of the alphabet appear to be correct, although I haven't gone through every single one to confirm this.

Whoops. I'll fix that in a bit, as I don't have access to my main PC at the moment.

Ya know, I was just searching around trying to redownload a bunch of the mods just for the sake of having the rtfms handy. I guess I wasn't the only one! This was like christmas all over again!

This reminds me: now that TwoJeffs has a proper directory, I should do one of these for his (their?) hacks as well.

Next update for the FFS RTFMs: two weeks after Seasons comes out, assuming Pescado has some new hacks by then.

 I am constantly running around trying to find all of the zip files I misplace...This should save the site a whole lot of bandwidth since many people won't have to redownload things that they threw out or misplaced on their harddrives.

And I was just about to rename all of JM's RTFM's to go in one folder. Because you know they're all named, well, RTFM!

I suppose that it is impossible to get the RTFMs from the extra items in the directors cut?

Specifically, I have dontshootfood, noassignmentlitter, snapdragonpets, and about 10 others that I cannot locate RTFMs for. There are a few others that I didn't install because I don't know what they do.

These are in my game because I have an "idea" of what they do. But I have been wrong so many times before about the way the mods here work when I don't have a manual.

Anyway, thanks for doing all of this. It was really needed.

noassignmentlitter -- keeps dormie assignments from littering up the tables in the dorm.  It makes them disappear after the dormie wanders away.

snapdragonpets -- makes the snapdragons affect pets just like they do sims (don't know why Maxis left that one out).

This does not appear to be sticky. Is that an oversight or are you planning to never touch this again after it disappears at the bottom of the page?  ;)

I just downloaded this and it seems that the commlightson rtfm still has the com-skilling information. I actually do know what it does so I don't need that manual, but I thought from the previoous posts that you had straightened that out.

Because of the newer method I used of renaming the RTFMs, that's impossible unless Pescado screwed up while adding the RTFM into commlightson.zip.

From a quick glance at commlightson.zip, it appears that the RTFM has now been removed completely, so commlightson.txt will be nuked in the next version.

hmm, well I thought that it was maybe just because it's where the offness started originally, that perhaps that one didn't get fixed.

My policy on this is like my policy for the FAQ: if someone writes it, I'll add it.
There's a good reason for that: the last time I stickied something in Peasantry, I seem to remember that Pescado de-stickied it 10-ish minutes later.

The FFS zip has now been updated, and I'll probably update the TwoJeffs zip later tonight.
