Title: error when calling service/maid (Pets) Post by: pioupiou on 2006 October 18, 22:43:04 when my sim called service to hire a maid I got this error (invalid species). I have the same error with or without hacks.
At the time no maid exists in the neighbourhood. I will try making one with the NL NPC maker tree and report back. Pioupiou. ETA : As soon as I made some NPCs with the tree, the error is gone. By the way it seems that you need to switch to making downtownies for the tree to correctly make NPCs. It works fine from a regular phone but Call...Service generates the attached error when you call from a cell phone. This is not specific to any particular option (maid/nanny/whatever); the error occurs before you even get to choose the type of service you are calling.
