Post by: Ambular on 2006 October 05, 21:35:54 Just a quick note: If anyone hears from a member who isn't able to access the site since it's moved, have them check and see if their Hosts file is still pointing the url moreawesomethanyou.com to the old IP address from back when the site was attacked. Deleting that line may fix the problem.

I can't get MATY on my desktop, and I was smart enough to figure out why, even before seeing this post, but can't remember where/what exactly I did when I changed it. My personal live-in tech support is on a plane, coming home from a business trip, and my back-up tech support must be in class, because he's not answering IM's. :D At least now that I know the name of them, I can do a search. The Hosts file is located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc (on my XP - SP2 system, anyway.)

If it hadn't been for someone (I forget who) at Insiminater (sp?) then I would have completely forgotten about the host file. Title: Re: Important!
