Title: Thinking Cap related error Post by: syberspunk on 2006 September 19, 06:33:51 Wasn't sure if this was related to the hat stands or not. Never had this error before. I figured I'd post it for others to look at before I take the time to poke around myself. Just cuz I'm lazy. :P
Ste ETA: Added another log from a different sim. This time, I was directing the sim to take off the cap. They were standing right in front of the hat stand for the thinking cap. The game lagged a bit, and then barfed up this error. FYI, the first sim in the first error log, I had queued her up to run to the 2nd floor at a spot right in front of a hat stand, and then I queued up the Take Off Thinking Cap interaction. She began to run upstairs, but unfortunately/stupidly she came back down the stairs and it appeared as if she 'decided' to place the cap on top of the kitchen island counter where the dorm cook serves food. Naturally, I cancelled the stupid interaction, and it barfed that first error log I posted. :P Title: Re: Thinking Cap related error Post by: jsalemi on 2006 September 19, 12:56:10 I don't usually run with testing cheats on, but I've been seeing the same thing, though it's not consistent. The sim just kind of 'hangs' in front of the hat stand, and then jumps, and the cap ends up sitting on the floor. It doesn't happen all the time, and the only times I usually remember seeing it happen is when I direct the sim to take off the cap. It seems to be fine if macrotastics or BUY or another macro controller directs them to take the cap off.

Title: Re: Thinking Cap related error Post by: jsalemi on 2006 September 20, 15:38:54 New version seems to be ok, though they still plop the caps on kitchen counters if the counter is closer than the cap holder, or if the counter is in the same room and the cap holder in a different room.
