yup!

MaxoidMonkey has two new sims on his(?) simpage...  the male has the OFB hidden hair with slight alterations and the female has a different long hair, that clips faces really badly if they have the wrong head.

Wow new hair! This is just there way covering there buts and so we can't say that they never released it.

Oh, hey, yeah!  Glad to see Maxis finally found their own content! :P

Just a note, the Julie Taton hair does not work on any other sim besides Julie Taton, because her head is oddly shaped and the hair cuts though other sims faces.

Even on that sim, the hair tends to cut through the face...  especially when she ages to elder.

I guess we need to wait for someone to fix it like they did the hidden OFB female hair...  this one is worse than the unfixed version of that!

The unfixed one isn't very bad at all, just Janna's extraction. That was really messed up.  :P I bet if you wanted to you could extract the textures off of that one and use them on the other mesh. They look almost the same anyway.

Those hairs look so ugly. I won't want them  ::)
And let's not even mention how horrible the models look. Maxis seriously have no taste.

when you stick them in game and compare them side by side, the two female meshes are quite different.

That does look pretty awful.  Can someone say ewwww ;p

Also for the love of god do not turn your settings down to low when those sims are on the lot. Trust me.  ;)

The BBS sims look awful, the MTS2 ones are not that bad. Moonluck, did you try the hair? Not the poodle one (lol, Siggylove), but the female hair? I wonder if the animations are truly fixed. They looked terrible in the Maxis release. I think it was Janna who unearthed them and put them up.

It was Janna who unearthed them and put them up, but it was Windkeeper who put up correctly binned and fixed-animations versions for all ages.  After which, Janna's mysteriously disappeared. :P

Yeah the MtS2 ones fixed the animations, they are now quite nice. I don't remember if the males are locked or fixed but they look fine and the female one has a nice new sway. is locked. I just looked.

Thanks Blue. I did download them, and put them on one of my sims. It was so sad --it looked so pretty, but the animations were majorly screwed up. Windkeeper is a good creator, I have a lot of her/his? stuff. I had some trouble with some of her/his windows, but that's about it.

Thanks Moonluck. I'll download them and try them out then. I'm a hair addict, what can I say? :D

Makes you wonder just how long they were there before I noticed them...  Or did they only just appear?

I KNOW that they weren't there since then. I check that site pretty regularly (no reason though, I never find any thing good, but it is funny to laugh at) and I started seeing them about a week ago. That date is fake, another way of saying that they put it out first, not the fans.

Next week more like month 'brand new' race car bedroom set!

they have been up there for a least two weeks. its pretty much all they show as featured.

Please don't insult standard poodles!  A poodle puppy cut is short and tidy.  It looks nothing like that mass on top of the Sim's head, which reminds me of a young Medusa when the snakes were babies.

Besides, if you scalp a person that hair is gone and most likely is attached to your loincloth.   ;D

What me wonders is no one has found the elder female clothing in glamourstuffpack yet. It looks like all files are there to unlock it.

..... That one came from Nightlife, what is it doing in there?

Edit : Ah! I think I know, the mesh in Nightlife is broken, maybe that is the fix?!

Edit 2 : The files are also in OFB and FFS. I think it is the fix.

It is in the carryforward.sgfiles i have not known it was meant for nightlife. Wow maxis is fast with releasing new clothings. Not seen since nightlife in game ?

Lol - apologies to all poodles :D  Maybe get rid of the loincloth and just have a good old fashioned merkin made instead ;)

Oh my god, this "new" female hair clips even more than janna's rips did. I'm sticking with Windkeeper's versions.
The male hair works *shrug* No reason to use these and not the earlier rips though.
