Title: My give up! (Looking for medieval clothing.)
Post by: Avalikia on 2006 September 08, 04:04:23
I've got this medieval neighborhood and, while I've managed to find a lot of really nice medieval clothing for it, there's a couple gaps that need to be filled.  Specifically:

The adult men of my royal family have four outfits total (the stuff from the Midsimmer Collection on mts2), so I need some more.  I've got plently of armor - I put my noblemen in that stuff - but I don't have anything besides the four that are merely nice clothes for well-off men.  Oddly enough, I've actually found much more for elders than the adult men.

I also need clothing for my female teen peasants.  Clothing that looks like work uniforms (aprons and such) are too nice for my peasants, because the merchant class gets that stuff.  They need some suitable ugly, dirty, or overly simple dresses to wear as they wallow in filth.

I've been wandering from site to site in search of this stuff with little success.  Anyone wanna throw me a bone?

Scroll down a little to get to the scruffy stuff - the teen stuff is on the next page.

As far as your royal men - I know I've seen some but I'll have to go look.

Ooh!  I got some shiny things!  Thanks neriana and gypsylady!  I still have less peasant teen female and royal adult male than I have of other ages, genders, and classes but at least now I probably won't have to have two people in the same household wearing the same clothes.

Unfortunately Rascal, those are Victorian era clothes (you can tell because the women's hips are suddenly exploding out the sides, lol) and would look out of place.  But I am considering that face-dirt.

http://www.all-about-style.com/victorian.html I remember a lot of peasant/working clothes there- victorian section (or was it the themes section- can't really remember, but there's some great stuff over there) :) Edit: Duh, there's a medeival section under themes, but I remember some in career outfits as well. You might want to look around :D My memory is not so good these days...
