Title: Another Bathroom Uses You Error Log?
Post by: syberspunk on 2005 September 09, 20:24:37
Oh Awesome one, or any modder who can interpret error logs, please take a look this log and let me know if anything really bad is wrong with my game and/or lot.

I wasn't really paying attention much to the sim(s) in question. At the time, I believe I had directed Michael (one of the teenage sons) and David (the father) to eat food that Hillel (the eldest teenage son) to prepare. I think Hillel was being used by the Bathroom at the time and last I noticed Michael was eating and David was on his way to sit down at the dinner table. Well... I also think there was some weird "nervous tick" of some  sort with Michael's animation while he was eating. He wasn't doing the shovel food into his mouth and chat cycle like normal, his arm looked like it was sort of stuck in the air (like when arms get stuck sometimes) but it was sort of jerking like he was trying to move it. I didn't think anything of it and figured it would fix itself or what not because things like that usually do. ::)

Anyways, I turned my back to attend to other sims on the lot and up pops the error dialog box and both Michael and David are popped over standing a few tiles away from the table (after I hit Reset of course). At about the same time, Hillel came barreling out of the Bathroom having been used and kicked out. I don't know if they are related, but when I looked at the log briefly, it looks like there's something about the bathroom controller. *shrugs*

I'm no expert on Macrotastics/Bathroom Uses You hacks, but from what I saw, it looked to me some weird conjunction of Macro/Use Bathroom, lots of sims on the lot, lots of doors, and maybe one too many bathroom controllers.

Maybe this bathroom controller would benefit from a more efficient "in use" routine, or at least a more efficient privacy check. Didn't see anything else that could be problematic.
