Can ghosts actually ummm........give up the ghost and die?

Ghosts can perform the death animations, and I think some ghosts even reenact their method of death on occasion.

I think the disease death ghosts reenact their deaths. At least mine do. Rather creepy.

I had one ghost who was eaten by the cowplant spend his nights teasing it with a ham hock.  It was pretty funny.

On the Spectre lot in Strangetown there is a ghost constantly acting like it has just been electrocuted; it's *shocking* to see! lol...sorry, I just had to!

Perhaps before too long the Maxis guys will give us a Sims2 version of the skeleton from MM!  That could be fun!  (Or not.......)

There you all go again, making me envious. My ghosts seem to be just as boring as my sims, all they do is float around and scare people.

Mine too. I want a funny ghost, dammit...  >:(

I actually can't remember what Liliy died of to be honest, but yeah, she's the first ghost I've had that has done something other than just roam around and scare people. It's kind of good though, at least she's one of many on the lot whom I don't have to keep an eye on.

I've got J.M's ghost hack and I've set all of the ghosts to scare only knowledge Sims, but they still insist on occasionally scaring non-knowledge Sims....not sure why that is? Any ideas?

Maybe if the sim is maxed out on logic, they assume he/she might want to be scared too?

Have you reported this to TwoJeffs?  Are the sims in question perhaps children?  I saw someone asking TwoJeffs on his board about a ghost scaring their child sim.

Oh, how embarrasing....maybe it was a twojeffs hack.......in any case, no it's not kids who are being scared, it's adults....and non-knowledge adults at that.

Perhaps that might be true Zephyr, but I'm pretty sure it's only knowledge Sims who like to be scared because that seems to be one of their most 'treasured' wants.

I don't suppose the ghost would care, though, and maybe the ghost hack sometimes lets them get away with it!

Well, JM has a ghost hack too, I thought you could mean that.  It is a ghostbuster sign.  It is an aspiration reward, and  you post it in a room, for example, the sims' bedrooms, and the ghost will be banished back to his/her urn/tombstone when entering that room.

Some ghosts are just hams like that.
