Hey, I am offering my lips here by asking this question...... but why does the macro...socialize option not use cool shades when they are available and the sim is gold or above in aspiration?  I just recently (d'oh!  I know) discovered the magic of cool shades + bust a move = 40 relationship points.  Yowza.  If these were automatically used it would make the socializing thing even faster.....

No, because in the time it would take for you to put on your cool shades after every move, the visitor would escape your lockdown and probably be off messing with something that will take half an hour to pry him loose from.

Yeah, after messing with this for a while, I discovered that is exactly what happens.  In fact, I've had several times where my sim put on the shades and the visitor is now in the bathroom and then runs off the lot.  Then here the sim sits with cool shades on and wasted.   :P  Too bad they can't just put them on and they are good for five interactions in a row instead of just having them good for one interaction and they disappear....... heeeeeyyyy..... would this be a possible mod?
