Title: Yabba-Dabba-Doo! Post by: Emma on 2006 July 21, 18:35:55 Look at this new set! (http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=176514) It looks like they are going to make a whole theme based on 'The Simstones' ;D The pictures posted so far look awesome. Glamour Life? Pfft! Caveman Life is the way to go! :D
Title: Re: Yabba-Dabba-Doo! Post by: SaraMK on 2006 July 21, 18:39:04 A whole set would be really neat! I'm adding "Cave Sims" to my list of ideas for themed neighborhoods.
Hey, my lot-placeable neighborhood rocks might come in handy for this. Sims can live inside rocks. Sort of. http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=169082 Title: Re: Yabba-Dabba-Doo! Post by: Gwill on 2006 July 21, 19:15:20 Looks great, but I'm never going to find any use for it in my current neigbourhood.
Maybe I shoud make a new strangetown. Title: Re: Yabba-Dabba-Doo! Post by: SIMplyLisa on 2006 July 21, 19:26:55 I am definitely going to make a Simstone theme comunity lot! It looks much better than the silly Maxis gorilla stuff! Maybe I'll sell rocks and bricks to the townies!
Title: Re: Yabba-Dabba-Doo! Post by: rohina on 2006 July 21, 20:36:13 This looks cool. I wanted some cave sims so I could do a multigenerational story with historical flavour.
Title: Re: Yabba-Dabba-Doo! Post by: Emma on 2006 July 22, 06:35:33 You could do a legacy story, sorta through the ages :D
Title: Re: Yabba-Dabba-Doo! Post by: veilchen on 2006 July 22, 14:26:55 LOL, yes. It gives 'start at the beginning' a whole new meaning. If I could make up stories, that would be a consideration. By the way, how's it going Emma? Hang in there, just a few more months :D

C Title: Re: Yabba-Dabba-Doo! Post by: Emma on 2006 July 24, 14:38:53 I'll use it, but not in my main neighbourhood! I think I'll make another sims 2 folder and have all the simstones stuff in there ;D My daughter is dying to play with it.
Title: Re: Yabba-Dabba-Doo! Post by: Sandilou on 2006 July 24, 14:56:51 Thanks for the link, Emma.
Rohina, I've been playing a multi-gen theme - starting with Medieval, and supposively working my way up chronologically to modern day. I've used alot of the stuff at Parsimmonius (Sims 2 Fashion), Besen's and Dr Pixels. But the 'Simstones' theme kind of makes me want to start all over again. It was only after my starting family was well established in the medieval era that I thought about going through different ages, starting with the cave man era - but at that time there wasn't much to choose from. This looks like as much stuff as a "stuff pack". And all EXTREMELY well done. I agree.C |
