I've been searching for help with this at the official site but have not found any information yet, maybe I'll have some luck here, you helped me with my last problem. 

I had my first sim get abducted by the secret society today.  He had his 3 friends, they took him away in the limo but I did NOT go to the secret society house, I stayed on his lot and had to close out, I did end up saving the game, not knowing this was not working out right.  When I came back to his house, he was standing out by his mailbox as if he'd been deleted.  When I went to the phone, he has no option to call for the limo.  I had been using the phone hack I downloaded from here, so I deleted that from the downloads folder but that didn't help, he still has no option to call for the limo.   :-[

Don't worry, they will come the next day. Sometimes, when the abductor can't reach the sim, the limo goes away without taking him. It happened to me a couple of times. It's not the phone hack that caused it.
Anyway, always when you see your sim freeze at 11:00 PM, give him an order to go to an open place (like playing dartboard outside), to ease the communication with him.

He was abducted.  They put him in handcuffs and he drove away in the limo, only I did not go with him to the secret society.  This is in Veronaville BTW.  Then I sat there in his house, it was like I had deleted him.  All I could do was buy or build.  I ended up saving, my mistake.  When I went back to the house, he was there by the mailbox like if you delete a sim.  Only now he does not have the option of calling to 'go to the secret society' on his phone.   :-\

If you didn't get the clip of the "travel" to the secret society - it's a glitch, and I am sure it will happen again.

You can't call a limo from your house - only from the secret society building. At your house you can only test: "call - go to secret society". If it appears - he has been memberred, but you didn't get the clip. So, order him to go to the SS. If you don't have the option - "go to SS", the abduction failed, and you will have to wait to another abduction.

Yes, I don't have that option!  So you think he'll get abducted again?

I've had other sims before that I've played that were already in the society and they always had the option when they called for transportation from any phone, to Go to Secret Society/Taxi/Invite Sim to Community lot but I only have the last 2 options, not the Go to Secret Society option.

If you don't have the "go to SS" option - you have to wait for another day.

Besides, it's not big deal being there - I always redecorate the building, add lights, and games, and except the gaining friends - there is nothing interesting there. I would happily pass it on...:). It doesn't even appears in the sim's memory - only "big man in campus" appears.

Now, I will get the option even if I saved after he went in the limo the first time?  I did finally find some info and they said they did not save and their sim was reabducted.  Will it work since I saved?

Oh, and he's been "big man on campus" for quite some time now.   ;)  That was long before he made his 3rd Secret Society friend.

I've only had one sim get abducted.  He spent most of his time there cooking meals for the totally useless SS members, then when he wanted to go home he phoned for a limo - and got an ordinary yellow cab!  I think he felt a bit let down!

Really?  I've played a couple of the SS sims that come in the game and they get a limo that comes to pick them up from the secret society house.  I've just never had a sim have the 3 friends and get abducted, I didn't know what to expect!  I probably shouldn't have saved.   :-[

How exactly do you play the SS sims?  Do you use the Mind Control Mirror or something?

And why do SS members also move into dorms?

Oh, and when Gary got abducted, when the SS members when to class or home, they walked off the lot.

Mind control mirror?  That sounds cool!  No, I don't do anything special.  I just make my sims befriend them.  I try to wait till my sims social is way down, then call the SS sims, it usually doesn't take long to make friends.  Then once they are best friends, I move my sim out to a residential house so they can propose to 'Move in', then I have the SS sim to play with!  I do this in all the neighborhoods, it's been fun!

This is the first time I've actually had a game going long enough to have my sim make the 3 friends on his own and get abducted and now it didn't work!   :-\

I think they move into dorms so you can befriend them easier, you don't always have to go to a community lot to see them, or talk on the phone like I do.  I just find with writing term papers and studying, it's easy to do making friends over the phone when their social skill is way down.

I see, so once they move into an ordinary lot, they get the limo come and collect them?

The limo came to my sims dorm lot also, once my sims moved into the residence, I'd either move them back to a dorm or use the changelot code and make the residence a dorm.  Either way, they always got the limo.  Again, these are NPC sims.  Don't know if that had anything to do with it.

Well, maybe it's in their coding somewhere?  I'm not into that kind of thing so I wouldn't know, but it seems likely if it happens on a regular basis.

I played the game again.  I don't know if this has anything to do with it but yes, they did come again the next night and the cop (dressed as a secret society guy) handcuffed him and put him in the limo but once again, he didn't fit in the limo.  (I failed to mention that in my first post).  When the car drove away he was sticking up out of the top of it.  I did NOT get the clip where I go to the secret society with him, and I didn't save this game.  Does anyone know what's going on with this game?  Help!

Look if the limo stops with the door against  the mail box, or the trash can - that can be the only reason to be unable to enter the limo. If so, you have to move the trash can and the mail box with moveobjects on to another place.

Another reason can be - stucked "kicky ball", invisible, and to move it, you have to activate FFS lot debugger of JM.

I don't think this sim has played kicky bag outside, he's been a busy sim with other games in the house.  And I don't know how to do what you just suggested, can you explain how to do that please?

Well, I moved the mailbox and garbage can and he's still sticking out of the top of the limo and it didn't work, I didn't save the game.   :'(    This is so frustrating!  If anyone can help me, I'll try whatever they suggest, but for now, I'm givng up, I've started another game anyway.   :(

You need the FFS Lot debugger, which you find as a yellow box in miscellaneous/miscellaneous in game.  Stick it under your lot or in the roof space and get your sim to click on it, and you will see various options like  kill stuck kicky bags, unblock fridge tiles, which appear only if the problem exists.

How do I find miscellaneous/miscellaneous in game?  I've never heard of this box or this place in the game.

The Miscellaneous is the last box in the buy section, where you find the wardrobes and kids stuff.  The misc box is the one with the pedal bins etc.  The debugger will appear in that once you've put the file into your downloads.

First, you have to download the FFS lot debugger

Unzip it, copy the file, and paste it in your downloads folder.

Enter the game, pass to buy mode; click on the 3 dots (miscelaneous), than again on a 3 dots showing.You will see the Lot debugger (it's a yellow box). Put it on the yard, and order it to debug the house. It will remove all invisible objects.

How to see if the limo stops against the mail box or trash can: when the limo comes and stops, and the policeman exit of it - pause the game, and see if the way to the limo door is free (by going to the opposite side with Ctrl+right click).
But if you said you removed the both, and still the student can't enter the limo - perhaps the limo portal is missing. If the FFS debugger doesn't help - there is a hack that fixes the missing portals - ZZ, you are more informative than me, who made it? Two Jeffs, or someone in Mod the Sims 2? Can't remember...:).

Ok, I've downloaded the fix, now I'll try the game, thanks again!  I'll let you know if it worked!

It didn't work, his head still pops up out of the top of the limo.  The other doors do work find on the car.  I'm going to try the boolprop and see if that gets him in, I'm tired of trying to get this stupid thing to work.  I have other sims I can try out to see if it's just this sim or the entire game.  Thanks for all your help!!!  I appreciated the fast replies!

Ok, last post on this topic!  lol  The boolprop worked and he got a jacket!  I didn't know they get a jacket.  When he got back home he was back in his street clothes so I suspect that will be the last time I see him in the jacket but that was fun.  This sim is going to graduate very soon and I kind of wanted to see his graduation through since I've only graduated 2 other sims who were a couple, and that's the reason I posted in this forum in the first place, they wouldn't age but that was taken care of by the help from here.  So, I'm happy, I didn't want to use boolprop but then again, it's better than adding a bunch of mods I may not even need, thanks again guys for you help!

Type in ( I copy and paste):

exactly how i wrote it. If you dont wanna use it anymore, then put in

boolProp testingCheatsEnabled false

* To use it, click on a sim by pressing on Shift while left-clicking. that is how you use the codes. and you can also click on other items with Shift and they have some options.*

It was the Shift key I didn't know about the first time I tried it, the second time, I put in the boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true, then held the shift key down, then (left) clicked on my sim, and the option to *Add to secret society was there along with several other options.  Then you have to remember to put in boolProp testingCheatsEnabled false after you choose your selection.  It's just like if you use moveobjects on/moveobjects off.  It was painless!  I've never used it before but at least now I know how to in case of another emergency.   ;)

I just wanted to say, I tried another sim in the secret society, no boolprop this time and it worked fine.  I got the drive to the house, the one thing that was different was the cop actually opened the car door and put him into the back seat.  With the other sim, the cop never did that, even though the mailbox and trashcan had been moved.  And it's funny, with the last time, the mailbox was right next to the car door!  Go figure!  So, it wasn't the entire game, just that sim or his house, dunno which one.
