I ask for curiousity sake and hoping to find free sites too.

You can put them there, or any other blogging site. You can also put them on (eek) the official site. Or, if you are feeling brave, you can get yourself some free webspace somewhere (like geocities) and make your own stories website. Really, you are only limited to how much work you want to do.

Don't the stories at the official site get expunged after some time?

Nope, stories are the only uploads that don't.  You just have to be careful about uploading, since if you upload from the same lot twice, the second story will overwrite the first one.

The stories I create with the game are fun for me and I want to share them with other simmers out their. Going on the Official site.. no way. It's a tween zoo now and made my brain hurt the last time I went lurking there.

I use Live Journal for mine. I'm happy with it. Was there a reason you specifically don't want to go there?

Since they don't get deleted I think the official site would be an okay place to put them.  If you don't want 'tweens' to read them, just fail to advertise your stories at the BBS.  Perhaps put a link in your forum signatures like Brynne does.

I have no problem going to LiveJournal, I was just wondering about other options as well.

Oh Brynne, you will be interested to know that sim you kicked the ass of sim JM after he kept annoying you after class. That dustball you two made even got the attention of the cafateria worker!
But, JM jumped you and won the next round. :P

I keep intending to make a story out of all those pictures I'm taking.  :D  Currently, the stories are in my head.  I'm not as creative as some others at making up stories.  I make up stories in my head about stuff as it happens in my game.

Brynne, I've been meaning to ask, where did you get the hair in your new avatar pic? Or any number of the hairstyles in your stories.

She has a hard time keeping track, LOL.

I think the current one is from Sunair Sims. Which other hairstyles were you looking for? lol

I never found that current one actually at Sunair's site, but by Sunair at TSR.  I can't understand why someone with their own site even bothers with TSR, or if it's to get a free sub there, then why they don't upload everything to both places.  :-\

The hair you have one Dina Caliente for one. (I like the bangs) I can't remember any others right now.

Yes, the current one is a sunair mesh at TSR. Didn't realize it wasn't at sunair sims, as well.

Dina's is from SimsConnection, I believe.

You know, I having been thinking of doing this for a few days so what the heck. I want to put a shout out to Squarespace...BUT - not free.

So that will negate it for a lot of ya, but for the rest of you...I REALLY like this publishing platform, I guess you'd call it. It is unique and I use it for my personal and business site. You do not need to know HTML. It really is the answer to "How do I put my blog/stories/pics/DLs whatever on the web - and make it look good and function well.

If money is not a concern or you just want more choice than a plain old blog, then check it out.
