Title: Looking for the mod causing my grief. Post by: lindaetterlee on 2006 July 04, 05:35:12 I have been looking through my downloads for days now. It seems i have a mod that i didn't remember downloading and i can't figure out which one it is.
I am looking for one that deals with children/teens putting homework on an object. I keep getting a error from this. If anyone knows of any mod that have this action of have any to recommend please include the name or maker so i can investigate more. Ohh and I know there are problems with the grand trianon custom desks (the ones that go under the bunk beds) and this mod. Dizzy himself recommended not to use them together. Post by: Paperbladder on 2006 July 04, 06:40:47 Well, I did see Monique's Auto Do Homework Mod (MQ_Do_Homework_Mod.package) and it could be conflicting with the InTeenimater or some other hack. You could try removing Monique's hack or the InTeen and see if that does anything.
Alternatively, you could check for conflicts using SimWardrobe's TS2 Hack Conflict Detection Utility (http://148.122.173.174/pplace/zips/programs/Sims2HCDU-01.01.02.zip). Sometimes it'll say two hacks are conflicting even if they're not, but it's better than nothing. Title: Re: Looking for the mod causing my grief. Post by: Nec on 2006 July 04, 09:06:52 I always disable them in groups of 10 (moving them to a new folder with Clean Installer) until the problem stops, deleting groups.cache and neighborhoodmanager.package each time. Then I reenable and move them back 2 or 3 at a time to isolate it. Good luck :)

If it was installed with a lot it might have a name that's a weird combination of numbers and letters. Use clean installer to scan your downloads folder and sort the results by name and maybe something will pop up. And yes, you do need help. ;D

The one time I was stupid and forgot to run clean installer on a house when I installed it and I got a stupid unwanted hack with it. I am very choosy on the mods I install. Although I wouldn't want anyone on this site to get a big head 'cause I never have problems with their mods....lol.
