Title: Sims 2 list? Post by: lindaetterlee on 2006 June 13, 19:57:16 Does anyone know if there is a sims list that lists specific objects that various sites have? I know there was one for sims 1 but not sure if there was one for sims 2 yet. I know of ultimate sims list but it doesn't list what the contents of sites are. Anyone got any clues?

EDIT: and also Elau has themes in her forum: http://www.simplyelau.it/forum/index.php Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: Batelle on 2006 June 14, 15:12:32 Just last night I was so proud of myself for getting my ginormous and unwieldy downloads folder below 1 Gig and now this. I don't know if I'm strong enough to resist spending the rest of my day clicking around the intrawebs looking for stuff I never knew I wanted.

http://www.simbella.com/forum/frm_psts.php?forumid=75&topicid=794406&admin=no Are the ones I use, especially the first one when I look for a specific site I got clothing from some time back and lost it :D Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: Persephone on 2006 June 14, 16:11:42 While we're on the subject of downloading things... has anyone found a really GOOD recolor of the expensive stove in black? I've seen a couple but they are UGLY!

I've seen a couple but they are UGLY! Not sure if it's a good one, but I made one black recolor of the stove for my own use recently. Don't have any screenshots because it's not a download available, but I can email it to you if you're interested in trying it out :). Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: virgali on 2006 June 17, 21:20:31 I'm a bookmark these for when I start downloading again, these are indeed very useful since I have sim stuff all over the place, about 3 diffrent hd's... :-\
And totally offtopic: GOLLY JOLLY GOSH SHRINK MY BANANA! The ppl fought for and the ppl got the thank you button. Is it the placebo version or does it actually work? :o Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: ZephyrZodiac on 2006 June 17, 23:30:50 Not a black one, but Hairfish (Mermaid cove) has a lovely set of recolours of the expensive stove and fridge, plus kitchen gadgets. I think I have a black recolour of the stove that works well, but I can't remember where I got it.
Found it, it's from Mermaid Cove as well. Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: jsalemi on 2006 June 18, 15:30:32 Yea, I have a good black one two, and when I searched for the file found that it's the Mermaid Cove one. Very nice recolor.
(And that reminds me I haven't been by MC in a while -- have to drop in and see what's new :) ) Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: ZephyrZodiac on 2006 June 18, 19:35:28 Hairfish has been busy! Those recolours for the expensive kitchen stuff and gadgets are great - so nice to have espresso machines that match!
Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: TaWanda on 2006 June 18, 22:13:41 I'm thrilled I can do my kitchens from the fifties and the seventies with the appropriate tacky color expensive appliances now! :D
Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: ZephyrZodiac on 2006 June 18, 22:19:24 If you want really fifties, Holy Simoly have a 50's fridge, but it's part of their donation pack - but it's an enormous pack!
Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: BlueSoup on 2006 June 18, 22:41:46 For fifties stuff as well, Shannanigan made some stuff here (http://www.thesimsresource.com/artists/Shannanigan) and here (http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=205745).
Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: ZephyrZodiac on 2006 June 18, 22:48:04 Crazy - some of the stuff on that TSR page is also at MTS2 - and you don't have to have a sub there to download it! Somehow, when you pay TSR's subscription, you expect what you get to be exclusive to that site! Glad I don't sub there any more!
Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: BlueSoup on 2006 June 18, 22:53:06 Her stuff was on MTS2 first. Then I imagine she was offered an FA position and took it (I'd take it too).
Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: ZephyrZodiac on 2006 June 18, 23:01:42 Oh, I accept that a lot of people would do so, but TSR shouldn't put stuff that is free on another site in locked downloads. At least, not in my opinion!
Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: BlueSoup on 2006 June 18, 23:04:19 This corner looks familiar. I think I've been here before. ;)
Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: ZephyrZodiac on 2006 June 18, 23:20:13 Sorry - I do tend to get a bit worked up about TSR at times.
Title: Re: Sims 2 list? Post by: TaWanda on 2006 June 19, 03:37:41 Thanks Blue, I already have a ton of Shannas stuff, her hairpin furniture really got me started on the fifties theme. But I am happy that Mermaid Cove has included the trash compacter and dishwasher, not strictly fifties I know, but oh well... :P
