Title: Broken object Post by: nainon on 2006 June 12, 11:11:12 Another stupid question: can lamps get broken? I'm not sure was that a lamp or something else, but I've never seen something like this in my game before.

If you have ghosts, best to use the Ghostbuster to ban them from rooms with expensive TVs and stereos in!

Title: Re: Broken object Post by: ZephyrZodiac on 2006 June 12, 14:39:53 The Ghostbuster is one of JM's hacked objects, and your sims need aspiration points to buy it - a good way to spend some of those thousands of points!
http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ffs/ofb/objects/ (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ffs/ofb/objects/) That's the link for Open for Business. If you don't have that, just look through the rest of the hacks directory for the version you need. Title: Re: Broken object Post by: J. M. Pescado on 2006 June 12, 15:28:14 Actually, it's the same object for all game versions, the directories are just symbolically linked. :P
Title: Re: Broken object Post by: ZephyrZodiac on 2006 June 12, 15:31:31 Well, I didn't know that! And after all the updates for some of your other objects, I just assumed each one was an updated version!
Title: Re: Broken object Post by: ElviraGoth on 2006 June 12, 20:53:41 I've seen them break alarm clocks before. It goes off at 5 a.m. because they have an early morning job, and they didn't get to sleep until 2 a.m. and eventually - BAM! There goes the clock!
I've had a couple of dollhouses get smashed, too. Don't want to talk about it. Bad, bad child. Title: Re: Broken object Post by: ZephyrZodiac on 2006 June 12, 20:58:53 They all get the option to smash the dollshouse, but I think Lucy Burb was the only sim who ever, ever smashed her own! She was a very disaffected child!
Title: Re: Broken object Post by: Jelenedra on 2006 June 12, 21:01:41 A fit sim could've also smashed their alarm clock. I had that happen once, they woke up and broke it in a fit of roid rage. :D
Title: Re: Broken object Post by: ZephyrZodiac on 2006 June 12, 21:08:02 I think you would notice if it was smashed after ringing rather than in the middle of the night. I dunno though, maybe if you were busy elsewhere on the lot! But if so, it's a good thing they don't have radio-alarms!
