Title: Looking for Fantasy or goth type clothing Post by: theisz on 2006 May 01, 14:36:04 I have been creating my own little town of, well, creatures and I cannot seem to find clothing that fits with the way they look. I am looking for fantasy, leather or goth type clothes. I am especially having a hard time finding stuff for the toddlers to teens.
Here's a couple creatures I have so far. (http://the-isz.com/pics/couple1.jpg) (http://the-isz.com/pics/couple2.jpg) (http://the-isz.com/pics/couple3.jpg) (http://the-isz.com/pics/couple4.jpg) Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's so hard to find the right look for your creatures these days. :D Title: Re: Looking for Fantasy or goth type clothing Post by: BlueSoup on 2006 May 01, 14:39:40 http://sims.varotica.de/

parsimonious has a few toddler outfits that are sort of gothic, but you have to search through them for a bit to find them. also here: http://www.kandyskorner.com/favorite.html Title: Re: Looking for Fantasy or goth type clothing Post by: baratron on 2006 May 02, 03:15:42 I'm sure you know about them already, but:
SimderZ (http://simderz.moonfruit.com/) Artemistha (http://artemistha.moonfruit.com/) - note, registering for this site is A PAIN, and you have to register several times in different places before it works Sims of Hades (http://www.persephonelee.com/hades2/) - sadly, hasn't been updated in a while SpicySims (http://files.spicysims.com/static34209843/home89769945.php) - adult site, some of the meshes are a bit insanely polygoned imo. Also has a thing about excessively big breasts. None of these sites have an enormous amount of content, but what is there is generally good quality. The biggest problem is the sheer ratio of female:male clothing. I just don't get why it's so hard to find nice clothes for guys. I'm currently crazy about liegenschonheit at Mod The Sims 2, who's made some amazing outrageously spiky cybergoth clothes. Check out the spiky armbands on the spiky-haired sim in thiese pictures (http://pics.livejournal.com/baratron/gallery/0001f5dq). Title: Re: Looking for Fantasy or goth type clothing Post by: akatonbo on 2006 May 02, 05:35:37 Check out KnightSkyKyte and q3tbo at MTS2 for some good stuff for male sims. Also, a recently added gem: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=152048
I'm guessing you have already looted SapphireSims thoroughly? (If not, get over there pronto, you'll love it.) There's also the Midsimmer Night's Dream massive medieval thread on MTS2, which might have some useful fantasy stuff, but it's more the medieval side than the horror side or even the elfy/faery side. |
