Title: Is this possible? Post by: uaintjak on 2006 March 27, 21:59:01 Is it possible to make a hack that would charge sims to travel to a community lot? I have lots of stuff on my community lots (skill objects, beds, job reward objects, etc), and sims don't age while they're there, so it's a big advantage (i.e., cheating) for me whenever I send a sim. Now, I usually deduct $1000 whenever I send a sim there (using SimPE) since I figure if I'm going to cheat, I should suffer for it in some way (Catholic background, don't ya know), but I'm wondering if there's a way just to deduct it (like for the cab ride) rather than having to exit the game and do it in SimPE.

. My sims pay 10 for the cab ride and 5 for each sim. :) Title: Re: Is this possible? Post by: MissDoh on 2006 March 27, 22:12:48 You do not really need to exit the game or use SimPe to deduct the money, you can simply use the "familyfunds" cheat to deduct the money by entering it this way:
familyfunds enterfamilynamehere -1000 Inge also have an hack that does that if I am not mistaken. With OFB you can charge Sims to use community lots like a discotheque for example by placing a ticket machine at the entry of the lot but somebody must own the place or it is free for all Sims that enters the lot. Title: Re: Is this possible? Post by: uaintjak on 2006 March 27, 23:42:40 Thanks all. I don't have OFB (heck, I'm still just playing the base game) so those obviously are out.
I'll have to try the Insiminator, despite the two dozen plus hacks I have installed, somehow I never got around to that one. |
