For those of you who weren't in chat and are still in the dark about what happened today, here's a snippet to help fill you in: [08:37] Inge: earlier this morning Pes was trying to delete some files and could not [08:37] Pescado: Well, I had some weird mutant files that didn't want to die. [08:37] Pescado: So I shredded them and put them in their own directory. [08:38] Pescado: Then I told Josh to delete that directory. [08:38] Pescado: With a very specific "type this command" format. [08:38] Pescado: Instead, he went and started screwing aroudn with some "admincp" thing. [08:38] Pescado: And decided to blow up everything BUT that. [08:38] ste|SimPE: lol [08:38] Pescado: Some people apparently cannot follow simple orders. [08:39] Pescado: Things were nicer when we shot people for this sort of thing. So the bottom line is that all the posts in the forum were fine, but all attachments are toast. Pescado has to restore his hacks from his local copies. Hopefully TwoJeffs and CrammyBoy have backups. Unfortunately, it didn't mention the server (or network, I have no idea what they are) and as a result I think I started an entirely new one myself called #grah, except nobody joined it (sob). I tried every which way, but just couldn't find it. I did find variousimmers and rentechd though, so maybe there just wasn't anybody there the times I went.
