Maybe you should give him a "Play date".   ;D

Did you age him up then back down, maybe?

I did that  just to see how my toddler twins would look as teens, and wound up with a pair of toddler twins in aspiration failure because they couldn't write a novel or something.  :P

GROAN!
No he wasn't aged down. He was fine until I loaded Nina long enough to make her a grilled cheese sim, then I loaded his lot back up and there it was. I exited without saving, kind of hoping when I load the lot again it's gone.

Does he have the sort of character you'd expect to see in a Romance Sim?  Not that I think that's connected, but I just wondered.  I'd be tempted to see if he could Flirt and if he couldn't, I'd give him a crush on someone (like his nanny, for instance!) and see what transpired ...

What cruel and unusual punishment!

I actually had a couple of weird kids who got wants based on the parents aspirations and not the grow up one. One kid who had 2 fortune parents always wanted flowers trees and shrubs. It was annoying, but at least I could satisfy those wants.

i've had aspiration wierdness since I installed OFB.  I made a couple of fortune sims, they both have the LTW of graduate 3 children from college.

Well, he had a birthday and he's fine now. Still grew up well, but I'm sad he couldn't have been platinum. At least he has kid wants again, that was just creepy.

Speaking of weird toddler wants I have been having some weird wants as well. If their parents own a business the toddlers want to gain a star rating or hire one of their friends. It's very odd. Oh, the joy that is OfB!  ;)

Great pic.

Not totally related but my game just generated a mailman.  I went to change his looks and clothes with the COA panel and I see he has a locked want to flirt with a little boy in the neighborhood he obviously has never even met.   ???????  I got criminals in my hood but no one asked for a pedophile ok?

I've noticed some odd wants, too. I have an adult Family Sim, 10 days to elder (finally, I'm trying to catch him up as he's next in line to age). However, he's having some odd Family Sim wants I've only seen in elders before, like to get a grandchild or have a family reunion - he even got the want to retire, which I couldn't even fill because he's still a good ways from elder. Grr.

Also, if you take some Sims to an owned business, I've found they can get some random stupid wants to fire/promote the employees of that store, not that they even can because they're just customers...

That's not totally unrealistic - people wish they could promote or fire people at stores they shop at all of the time! :D But it is annoying that it clogs up their want slots.

There is definately more want oddness. I noticed last night a child with a lifetime want. I'm going to check my other kids tonight.
